My first match of the day, I start a Fire Base Giant, Cerberus, Gold match with randoms, we get a team without any infiltrators. I consider this a good thing. Two other guys had mics and they sound like good guys. We wipe on wave 8 or so. No big deal. We can just learn our lesson and start another match. One guy leaves and gets replaced by an infiltrator, without a mic. Start next match, same map and all, it already feels different, easier in some way. Like I can just camp out and let someone else do all the work.
Later on was playing firebase Goddess, Gold, with two infiltrators and another non-infiltrator. I bleed out. The rest of the team is in The Room. An Atlas coming through one entrance, two phantoms coming in through the other. the non-infiltrator is in a perpetual state of stun lock, death, and revive. The two infiltrators are waltzing in between the enemies and team, cloaking in plain sight, dumping aggro on this poor guy who can't do anything but get killed.
Later on, another match on Goddess, Gold, Cerberus, this time only one infiltrator. I bleed out again. The rest of the team is in The Room. Again, Atlas coming through one entrance, two phantoms in the other entrance. The two non-infiltrators are being rockets and stabbed to death non-stop. The infiltrator, again, waltzing in between enemies and team, cloaking in plain sight, dumping aggro.
Later on, I play an infiltrator. My infiltrators are level 19 all from character card spam. I need 2 or 3 matches to get them to 20. I run around the edges of the map, cloaked, putting my Reeger X right up in critter's cranium and melting them in a split second without getting shot. I could have done just as well with a claymore, or a tooth pick.
Go ahead, tell me how much skill there is in using tactical cloak. Tell me how much skill there is in using your team as a bullet sponge. Tell me how much skill there is in shooting unaware targets in the back.
Tactical Cloak = Easy Mode + Unfair to Non--Infiltrators.
The more I play with Infiltrators, the more I hate Tactical Cloak.

I play infiltrator a lot. I really only enjoy playing Infiltrator and Adept and switch back and forth between the different races of those classes at random. But I'll speak as though I only play Infiltrator, 100% of the time.
You're right. You're so much better than me at ME3 multiplayer. I have no skill and rely entirely on cloak to be competitive. You are a skilled player and are totally awesome and I suck.
There, are you happy?

It's unfair oh no... pffft cry me a river. I'll think of you bleeding out whenever I cloak and dump aggro, and smile.

So what you're saying is, you and your team got cornered? Sounds more like a shortcoming on your part.

Did you ever stop to think that the replacement infiltrators just happened to be better players?

I only notice the aggro affects of infiltrators on my team when I have three infiltrators and I'm not one. Other than that, the aggro is not bad at all.
Besides, if the Infiltrator is halfway decent, he is using the cloak to sneak to a good killing spot to help you out. Nothing wrong with that.

OP, an advice: Follow in somebody's (you know who) footsteps and start kicking infiltrators from your lobbies. This will solve your problem.

When I am an infiltrator my primary targets are the ones my team doesn't see. Or cant deal with. Knowing someone was at my back watching my flank one would think would be a comfort not a liability to fun. What would you prefer a Geth hunter backdoor surprise or a corpse at your feet as you lay into a prime and his fiery entourage in front of you?
The bad infiltrators are the dead ones and the ones who think a warp field is an advanced form of spotting laser and dump a clip into anything primed to go boom.

Those Infiltrators were probably Cloaking & sneaking away lest they get yelled at for kill stealing.
Noticed you left out what wave you wiped on/if you extracted with those Infiltrators.

how is it unfair to non-infiltrators? When I play infiltrator I am always reviving teammates and doing the objectives.
I don't think my teammates dislike me getting objectives done fast for more credits and keeping them alive so they can keep playing ...

The problem isn't the cloack or you being a decoy. The problem is when they don't kill a thing or need two BW clips to kill a marauder. And sadly this is the average inflitrator on gold, except if they equip the krysae, but even that needs a minimun skill or at least some brain.

It makes me smiles when I outscore infiltrators in matches. One's who aren't busy reviving or capping objects and being proper team players anyway. Because for the most part, TC makes them better at everything every soilder can do. So it's always nice to know I'm better then someone when I've got the handicap.
When I use my Turain Soilder, I can't roll and don't get 90% extra damage on my weapon and proxy mine every time, and I still beat Geth/Salarian Infiltraitors, and it puzzles the hell out of me.
Cept once, GI came in with the GPS and got 3/4th of the total score. Killing Banshees and Brutes in 2 or 3 shots is rediculous, and I don't care how fun god mode is for some, in a public game, it's stupid. And that's why I don't do it, I could do the same thing and probably wipe the floor, but I care that the people around me are experiencing the game too.

I think we should start nerfing good players too. If you consistently get top score, you're too good and must get nerfed.
You're just highlighting the emphasis/key aspects of ONE class defined by GOOD players. I've seen bad infiltrators, they do exist.
And I could emphasize that the Salarian Engineer is too good because enemies just attack the decoy non-stop and they have energy drain and incinerate (good against any enemy and can get their shields back almost whenever). Not getting attacked by enemies, can regain their shields, and good against health, armor, shields, barriers, and can carry a sniper without much penalty.
Clearly SE = unfair + too good, right?
See how that works? Infiltrators are fine. Maybe 75% instead of 90% bonus, but that's it anything more is stupid IMHO.
OP is far too narrow mindedly against infiltrators. Thread now ignored.

One infiltrator is good.
Two infiltrators (when you're not one) is alright.
Three infiltrators (when you're not one), you're living, running decoy.
Ah well, as long as I get my credit I'll do my job and let them do their job.

"Infiltrators dump aggro" is THE weakest argument I've ever seen/heard.
Most infiltrators don't stay cloaked long enough to let any "dumped aggro" wander anywhere close to a teammate. And if they do, it's because they're reviving someone or capping an objective, both of which are acceptable.
In a team where you are the only player that isn't an infiltrator, and they all happen to cloak at the same time, it would make more sense. But that's an exception, not the rule.
Wait, I just read that "shooting targets in the back" bit. New weakest argument. It's called flanking, you do that in a shooting game. It's no more "easy mode" than powers that home in on the enemy and can hit them behind cover.

Unlike the OP, I've had opposite experiences mostly. I tend to like to play squishy characters (HE, AA, etc.), and most of the time, it's an infiltrator that revives my sorry *ss.
Besides, a good infiltrator is taking out enemies, so aggro is not really an issue. Personally, if one doesn't like to play infiltrators, then don't play them! When I play QFI, and I try my best to be a team player.

Or, maybe they could just buff the other classes so that they are on the same level as the infiltrator.

And then buff the enemy again when it gets to easy. OR, we could just deal with the offending power and not have to touch another thing..:3
