But let's face it. The way that everything else is going, it's only a matter of time before you Infiltrators feel the cold steel of the Nerf-Hammer. Compared to other classes, you've remained relatively untouched. Enjoy it while it lasts.

I hardly play Infiltrators, and if, then mostly GI with a Scorpion. Still I think other classes can dole out damage just as fine. I actually am happy to have my no. one position on the scoreboard challenged from time to time while playing a QME or a TS.

Since my cloak now isn't really a cloak since the latest patch, if it gets anymore of a nerf I'll play my other classes. I revive lots more when I'm an infiltrator, so expect to bleed out when I play different classes from now on. Don't worry, I'll finish the wave, but I won't bother wasting the time to revive you.

Most infiltrators don't stay cloaked long enough to let any "dumped aggro" wander anywhere close to a teammate. And if they do, it's because they're reviving someone or capping an objective, both of which are acceptable.
This one match I was in, I played Infiltrator, the rest, other classes. I did all the work while they just sat around playing cards until an enemy spotted them, then they played possum. As soon as I shot the enemy dead, they went back to playing cards. True story.

Wait, I just read that "shooting targets in the back" bit. New weakest argument. It's called flanking, you do that in a shooting game. It's no more "easy mode" than powers that home in on the enemy and can hit them behind cover.
I see how you herp derp there. Try flanking without Tac Cloak.
I really can't find the sarcasm in this, but I refuse to believe that you honestly think that you can't flank enemies without TC. Maybe if you completely suck at the game, but otherwise? It's as easy is taking a route that takes you behind your enemies, while your teammates draw fire. Any class can do it. Try it sometime.
So you continue with the EZ mode of spamming homing powers that can hit behind cover, and I'll continue with the "EZ mode" of cloaking to line up headshots.
You can flank enemies without TC, so why should TC be in the game? So you don't have to work as a team using the Draw Fire Tactic to setup a flanking manuever?
I'll continue using my "EZ Mode" auto hit powers, getting shot while doing so, and lining up shots while my CD is in effect, taking shots while I do so. You will continue using your EZ Mode Tactical Cloak not getting shot while lining up shots and you can feel like someone special because no one disturbs your peace and quiet while you line up a shot.
TC isn't in the game just for flanking, it's for capping objectives and reviving too.
And everyone knows that you need not get shot when spamming powers. All you have to do is take cover, point the middle of your screen in the general vicinty of the enemy, and press the button. Making you pop out for a split second to throw your power. EZ mode at the CORE.
Meanwhile, snipers must stay exposed to aim at and snipe their enemy. Tactical Cloak mitigates that threat, but is still useless from an offensive standpoint if you don't have the skill to get killshots with careful aim.

You make it sound like the vast majority of them are fine upstanding citizens of ME3 MP that do no wrong, pillars of the community, super heros. Without them the game would be impossible. Credits would cease to exist.
The fact is that the game throws hordes of enemies at you. I've seen non-infiltrators get swarmed and ground to paste while Infiltrators line up their shots. Then the infiltrator revives his decoy, runs away, cloaks, lines up his shot. Meanwhile the decoy is getting swarmed again, and pasted. Rinse and repeat.

Oh, yes you do need to get shot when spamming powers. If the enemy has a bead on you, and on gold if you are not cloaked somebody always has a bead on you, the second you stick your head out of cover to do anything, you get shot, unless you are cloaked.
No, because of cloak, "snipers" do not stay exposed while aiming. Non-cloaked players stay exposed when aiming. Incidentally, shooting without cloak is still useless from an offensive standpoint if you don't have the skill to get killshots with careful aim.
So, can someone finally tell me how much skill there is in using tactical cloak? Tell me how much skill there is in using your team as a bullet sponge. Tell me how much skill there is in shooting unaware targets in the back.

I speak from common sense. What an Infiltrator does isn't dependent on whether or not he is the perfect player. An Infiltrator that his the slightest idea of what he's doing will cloak exactly long enough to line up a shot and pull the trigger/fire a power/etc (unless he's capping an objective or reviving). You make it sound like an Infiltrator leads his squad into a freshly spawned group of enemies, turns on his cloak, and beats his head against the wall for 10 seconds while his squad dies. No matter how much you would like to believe otherwise, occurences like that are isolated incidents, and are a result of bad players, not bad classes.
You talk as if no one else revives or caps objectives or as if it would be impossible to do so if not for Tactical Cloak.

Nothing I said implied that it was impossible to do those things without TC. Nor did I say that sniping is useless without TC. Just because I say one thing doesn't mean that I believe the polar opposite is true. Do away with that assumption.
And the amount of damage you take in the split second that you're casting a power is negligible. Even if you have to stay in cover while your shields are coming back, you can use that opportunity to "aim" at another target for when you're ready to start spamming again. EZ mode.
You've been told multiple times the skill involved in using Tactical Cloak. Apperantly this has reduced you to repeating the same exaggerated phrase over and over again to try to convince yourself that you're right. You've also made it obvious that you need a scapegoat for repeated deaths, and Infiltrators seemed like the easiest target. So bye.

It isn't impossible, but plenty of squishie piles tell me it's not that easy either.
There were games I felt like florence nightingale on speed.
It's fine, I don't mind, it's part of the Job discription, that gold cross at the end means something, it'sfun even, if it doesn't go out of hand, but don't discount it.
It's one thing to revive somebody who died next to you in cover while you were spamming powers, it's another one to revive these two vanguards in the middle of the killzone and then get out without cloak afterwards
Don't get me started on objectives and none infiltrators trying to help.

And if you shoot anything but a single shot weapon, you will be out in the open for far longer, the aggro comes back the second cloak breaks and all of sudden that BW cannot fire qick enough against... pretty much everything on gold.
It's true, TC helps you to line out your first shot against most enemies, but then, you need to line up a shot with pretty much any sniper (Krysae doesn't count).
So, can someone finally tell me how much skill there is in using tactical cloak? Tell me how much skill there is in using your team as a bullet sponge. Tell me how much skill there is in shooting unaware targets in the back.
The is never much skill in pressing a button, there is not much skill in using TC as a damage buff, and possible not all that much in using it as an aggro dump (I suppose Shotgun infs are more guilty of those, as they stay in cloak longer, roaming the map), but once you get to the tactical aspect of cloak, it is neither an I-win-button, nor does it get you out of jail for free.
Inf as a class is noob friendly, as you don't die a lot, even if you suck.
Plenty of rubbish Infs out there still show me there's a bit more to it though.
You could ask what's the skill in BEs, it's just spam powers and repeat, and yet people who I completely out-shoot, out-revive and out-objective-cap when when we're are both playing as Inf, completely school me in the biotic arts.
If you found Inf so easy maybe you just are a true Infiltrator at heart and just don't want to admit it.

It makes me smiles when I outscore infiltrators in matches. One's who aren't busy reviving or capping objects and being proper team players anyway. Because for the most part, TC makes them better at everything every soilder can do. So it's always nice to know I'm better then someone when I've got the handicap.
When I use my Turain Soilder, I can't roll and don't get 90% extra damage on my weapon and proxy mine every time, and I still beat Geth/Salarian Infiltraitors, and it puzzles the hell out of me.
Cept once, GI came in with the GPS and got 3/4th of the total score. Killing Banshees and Brutes in 2 or 3 shots is rediculous, and I don't care how fun god mode is for some, in a public game, it's stupid. And that's why I don't do it, I could do the same thing and probably wipe the floor, but I care that the people around me are experiencing the game too.
TC is better than AR at everything huh? I guess Infiltrators can also absorb an entire salvo of Gold Ravager rounds to the face and not lose shield, or lose only half shield to Brute Charge on Gold, take a Gold Atlas missile/Banshee Warp to the face and shrug it off. All the while continually dishing out 50% (or 75% determing how you spec AR) additional damage over a period of about 7 seconds (6.8) with your weapon of choice. Yeah, clearly TC outpaces AR in the burst-dps/tanking category.

LEGITIMATE? What game are you playing?
You want a game observation that is opposite to the OP's here it is.
Bosses and shock troops have an unhealthy obsession with me.
I **** you not, I have had Atlases spawn on the map, clank out into the open, spot me halfway across the map and start sniping me. COMPLETELY IGNORING THE KROGAN BASHING HIS HEAD AGAINST THE LEGS.
I went went to cloakshot and the Atlas turned to deal with the Krogan only interrupt itself the second I reappared and fire a rocket at me.
I have had Primes ignore players to focus solely on me whether I was cloaked or not.
I have had Mauraders charge me recklessly trying to eat my face only get my Omniblade in theirs bypassing a Geth who tried to heavy melee it.
I have had a Husk chase and ONLY me with laser precision around the map while I was dealing with objectives despite running past other players multiple times.
I have had the ENTIRE MAP of enemies focused on my position and completely ignore the other players, cloaked or not.
Aggro dump a legitimate concern?
I have dismissed this claim.
I only WISH I could aggro dump as effectivly as the OP claims I can. Then maybe I don't have to worry about that Centuron whacking me with a stun stick so I can revive in peace.
