Geth on firebase white is getting old. Does anyone have any proven strategies for the other factions?

glacier spawn clearing is quick and not too tough. Need a pretty decent squad though.

I like glacier with reapers. Drell Adept, MQE all work well. Krysae infils, particularly salarian and geth

Honestly, learn to stay alive and Biotic users. This will turn you into a good player fast.

Ok, found Grimy Bunyip's speed run thread. The maps are useful for learning spawn points.

Your headline indicates reapers but your post mentions any non-geth faction, so I'll give concise answers to both.

Cerberus: Have at least one person, ideally multiple people, in the party with Stasis \\ Submission Net, or an anti-Phantom weapon (Falcon, Krysae, Scorpion). Profit.

Reapers: Don't try to turtle after wave 4ish. Banshees and Brutes will flush you out of whatever cute little hole the party has chosen to hide in, and if you don't have a person as a designated roaming trash cleaner / ravager remover, you will get f*cked.

there's more to it than that, but it's good wisdom

1. 2 Biotics would makes thing a lot easier. 1 with Reave since it is unavoidable(AJ is great since you can easily set reapers up for warp bubble since a lot of them are melee) and any Biotic that can detonate it(AA, HA or HSen)..
2. Avoid Camping in one spot for long periods. You'll have a better chance if your team is Mobile. Brutes and Banshees will eventually force your team out of cover and it's going to be hunting season for Ravagers and Marauders..
3. Use Missiles!

Reapers are best played on wide maps with lots of interveaning terrain. Dagger is my favorite. Basically, use biotics to take out brutes and banshee, but keep a very open eye for the blue spotters of ravagers and learn to rolls/dodge if you have a class that can, because you won't be useing cover after wave 4 for more than 10 seconds at a time.

Against Cerberus, a Batarian Soilder is always helpfull to bring along for Phantom duty as well as others mentioned above.

Usually when I play vs. reapers on gold, it involves a lot of running for my life. :)

I usually play one of the adepts. Not that it counts for much since all my games are with randoms. Thanks for the suggestions though.

There is no such thing as "bunkering down" when it comes to Reapers.

Clear an area -> move to that area --> Clear another area ---> move to that area. Do not get pinned down in one spot.

lots of Adepts and BE helps.
Use adrenaline buffs for slow characters so you wont have to turn around when you pull back from a Banshee

In terms of greater threats to the team:

Marauders > Banshees
Ravager > Banshees

As long as you stay away form Banshees they don't pose that much of a threat compared to Marauders and Ravagers. 3 Marauders or 2 ravagers can easily pin you down while the brutes and banshees close in.

Kite the reapers through the map.

A shotgun infiltrator with proxy mines who scouts is a nice addition when you run/kite the reapers through the map.

Try to run in the same direction (as a team) to not mess up spawns and run in circles.

An engi with decoy/drone can keep the aggro off you and your team when you're about to get overwhelmed or when you need some time to trash-clean. Also, tech bursts.

And Adepts for Biotic Explosions.

Reapers aren't too difficult if your team understands target prioritization. Kill the marauders, cannibals, and ravagers first. Too many people want to focus on the banshees and don't seem to realize all the damage they're taking is from the ranged enemies, not the banshees.

Kill ranged first while the banshees/brutes are coming to you, then you can kite around and kill them at your leisure.

Human Adept is amazing vs Reapers especially if you have someone reaving everything.

Yes, please spread this info to as many players as you can.  After you realize this then you will find that Reapers are probably the easiest faction to play against.

You need 3 salarian infiltrators and a stasis asari to beat cerberus on dagger ahahahahahah. This is really funny bro.

Anyways to answer the op question the best strategy is to make friends who play mass effect gold. Hit me up on xbox if you want to run gold on reapers. Playing biotics on reapers is overrated we beat them with any squad except for quarian engineers and drell vanguards.

Learn to kite. Fall back positions when you are overrun, a lot of teams seem to try and hold one spot and when the Brutes/Banshees overrun, they scurry around the 'spot', when it's easier just to fall back, get some distance, and keep picking at them.

As others said, kill Ravangers first. They will seriously hamper a team's ability to poke up from cover and fire back, and make changing positions painful.

Learn to dodge when a Banshee hops on top of you, you seem to be able to often dodge the grab. Also, once you know the distance of a Banshee's hops, you can usually tell if you're one hop away or not, and adjust yourself so you don't get insta-hop/grab/killed.

Been into Reapers lately myself, FBWGG does get old, even though it's easy-ish credits, and Reapers provide a lot of thrilling moments.
