I tried to register at the newsletter but it says error unable to register. Its been 2 weeks now and it still won't register. I want this weapon BAD!

Just to check this I made a new EA account and tried to sign up, it gave me this error:

My guess is the newsletter no longer exists.

Have you checked with tech support? I just saw a post from crisisone saying he got something resolved in regards to staff of parlathan. It was tech support for x box 360. Granted does not say what it resolved. Sorry might not be much help.
