Wouldnt this just make you run out of misiles in your manifest really fast?

Can someone answer this?  Say you have 50 missiles when the game starts in your inventory.  What happens if you use the glitch 20 times?  Will you have 30 after the game or still 50?

Let me understand. You plan to use to use an "exploitation glitch" that gives us a uber-godly-weapon and you want even to save your missiles?!!!!

There is no need to add further comment.

See the rest of my comment (edit 1 second after posting). I have no desire to use this cheat.  I want to understand how broken it is.  The question still hasnt been answered.  If all 20 missiles are used it seems much less useful. The cheaters will run out of missiles very fast....

Solution: every player who is armed with a Scorpion should be automatically kicked in the lobby because it's obvious they're going to be exploiting this glitch.

You want to kick everyone who uses Strikers, Falcons and Krysae's as well?

strict answer: I don't know and simply I don't care since I have no intention to use the glitch. Anyway cheaters will buy Jumbo equipement packs. The "missiles (un)availability" will not not stop them.
I suppose BW will do something. I don't know when but they will do( banning the cheaters, for example)

I still think it's funny that reload glitch is dandy and this is abhorrent. Both are exploiting bugs it's just a matter of how much an advantage is gained thats the problem.

In any case it's probably one out of a 100 annoying things people do to eachother online and the easiest thing to do is to count your losses and leave.

OMG! We have told you 15 TIMES.... 15 TIMES, that reload canceling IS NOT A GOD DAMNED EXPLOIT. It's a freaking FEATURE.

Seriously, how thick is your skull if you can't get that through it? It must be made of the same material as the counters at the bottom of Firebase White...

You do not consume your own missiles to do this.

Banning is a quick-fix band-aid that does not fix the problem, only threatens us as the the consumer.

Pushing the issue will result in this being fixed sooner. While they HAVE to release a patch to fix this, they might as well include fixes for the the other problems we are facing.

I'm going out a limb for this. I'm willing to take the heat for the greater good of all.

Whatever it takes.

Agreed, reload- canceling is perfectly fine.  This on the other hand is completely unacceptable.

Now is not the time to be divided by petty arguments. We must stand united agianst this.

We must all speak out agianst this glitch, I encourge as many of you that possibly can to start messaging Bioware about this glitch.

Let's make our voices heard and save this game.

So much illogical thinking in this topic.

The only thing you will produce with this topic is either over a week of missile-spam games, or shutting down the servers while they fix this. Don't think you're a winner because you let the convicts out of jail after telling the police their security is lax.

Also, I imagine most of the people abusing this will be doing it in private games where they won't get reported. Likely with gameplay feedback turned off as well. Can Bioware even track something like this if users aren't uploading gameplay data?

Private games are not untrackable. Otherwise you wouldn't even need to be connected to EA servers.

NO! In BioWare's humble opinion. Jessica spoke on reload canceling. She said it was a feature.

Stop being an idiot. It's not healthy.

True, but how can they tell you're slaughting things with missiles if you aren't uploading gameplay data?

They can't even track what you kill or what you promote for the events if you aren't uploading data.  How are they going to tell how you're killing something?

In Developers Opinion. If you don't agree with devs who made this game that's your problem though.

Let your anger go.  If the servers need shut down for awhile,( your words and your words only)  so be it.  They take that time to fix EVERYTHING then.

We must stand together.  No more fighting amoungst ourselves until this is corrected.

Not angry, buddy. If you kept the zealot savior tone out of your announcement, I wouldn't honestly care about it. But that's what you really seem to be selling, and I think that's utter nonsense.

It would be entirely unethical for Bioware to ban players for abusing this exploit.

Like falling through maps, this was built into the game (unintentionally), and no outside manipulation is needed. All it takes is three button presses and a high enough latency to pull off. It's random.

There is no hacking. There is no cheating. Cheating is gaining an unfair advantage over someone else. Anyone can do this. It's so simple you could do it by accident. Exploits are not cheating. Superbouncing in Halo 2 is an exploit. Wavedashing in Smash Bros is an exploit. Reload animation canceling is an exploit.

I agree that Bioware should be aware of the problem, and something of this magnitude should be fixed. But if they ban a single player over something that they allowed them to do, then that is just wrong.

This is the biggest problem by far.  Those other things suck, yes very true.  But this Missile thing will kill the game.

I love this game, but maybe it's time to let it die.

We need some sort of message to Bioware.
