This happened to me about a month ago. I forget who I was using but all of a sudden I couldn't shoot regular rounds. It was all missiles, and when they ran out I couldn't reload. We wiped a wave later and I chalked it up to a glitch like falling through the map with my vanguard or getting grabbed by a Banshee from 30 feet away. It hasn't happened to me since. Is this a widespread thing now?

What kind of connection do you use, churchofzod? It didn't happen me till after the last update, but it should have. The servers got laggier for me at that same time though, so it could have been that instead of the actual update.

Don't get your hopes up. Issues that have been present ever since the game's release (i.e. ULM bug and credit glitch) have yet to be resolved. Within the past few months, Bioware has either ignored bugs and glitches, or attempted to fix them without any success (ex. patch 1.03). The most they will probably do is make ban threats as a way to warn people not to exploit.

I may not be an IT expert, but I honestly don't comprehend as to why Bioware has so much trouble maintaining this game. I don't think I have ever come across another multiplayer game with such poor maintenance and numerous glitches and bugs.

I use my home wifi network. Cable modem.

It has probably been there for a while. wifi would give you a bad connection to anyone running wired cable. I just didn't notice it until there servers turned to crap for me after rebellion update.

Just for kicks, tried it with some friends. it is thr dumbest thing i've seen since the javelin glitch of mw2. took note that you cannot gain ammo ever, and leaving the lobby and coming back won't allow you to do it again. Really hope this gets patched b4 PuG gold is destroyed beyond recognition.

Calm down and follow these three easy steps:

1. Don't do it.
2. Report people that do it.
3. Leave the match when people do it.

I haven't seen this many people go crazy over something since the Reegar was introduced. And that wasn't long ago. ^^ xD

It shouldn't be in the game and completely ruins it.  It needs to be fixed.  Not ignored.

While I agree that the hysteria is a bit unnecessary and 1 and 2 should definitely be followed, 3 isn't really practical. Especially if you put on some of the one-use equipment before the match. I'm not going to waste it just because some douchebag happens to be in the game.

^That's the most annoying bit, you may have to leave the match in order to avoid being banned. It's stupid, I know, and if it starts happening too much the game might actually become as broken as OP says it is. the best thing any of us can do now is just be patient and wait to see how Bioware responds to this thread (OP hasn't even been Abram Smashed yet, curious.....)

Why would anyone have to leave the match?
Unless you're a mind reader, you can't tell if the glitch was intentional or not.
Stay to the end and whenever and get another character card from you SP/PSP.

The problem is that by someone else doing it, even by accident, if you stay in the game you will be benefiting from the glitch every bit as much as if you'd used it yourself. Any credits gained would be ill-gotten, the question then being where will Bioware draw the line? If they decide to be strict about it, anyone benefitting in any way from the glitch could be at risk of a ban, which is important for people to know; even if Bioware decides to be more lenient, better to be safe than sorry (so if you do try out the glitch just for the lulz, be sure to not finish the match and quit without gaining anything, it's the only way to be sure you won't get in trouble).

What apparently is really amusing is that the prox-mines the Scorpion fires... explode with the force of missiles also.

I haven't tried it, but that would be pretty funny.

Let's hope agianst hope they are going to say something is done about this in today's balance changes.  Most likely not, but we'll see.

Just played three gold games. During which every single teammate used this glitch. Nine complaints were filed by me.
