I didn't say anything until it became public knowledge here. I did PM a moderator at the same time I posted the video.  I'm not going to apologize or feel bad about stuff I do on youtube on this site-I kept the video up because it is funny.

Here is a glitch I discovered a few days ago and have been able to recreate inconsistently a few times since then. It is with the krysae sniper rifle and quarian male infiltrator. I recorded a short video of it here:

Thanks! I'll pass it on to my guys

This is actually a problem for all infiltrators, and the scorpion ammo can be replaced as well.

Better safe than sorry.

Can you explain the "safe" part of your actions? You seem so concerned that this is a game breaking bug that will destroy multiplayer, but if you took a minute or two to actually think about your actions you'd realize that you are doing far more harm than good. ANYBODY can tell that this is a serious glitch at a glance, and this includes Bioware. They have been notified privately that such a glitch exists, and I'm sure that they are working on it. They don't need you to tell them that this has the potential to lose them money, and they especially don't need you to spread the glitch around like a virus to the whole community.

I applaud the person who did research into this how exactly this glitch is activated and who messaged the Bio Devs about it, because that is actually helpful. Left at that, this glith could have flown under the radar of most players, hardly being used before Bioware finds a way to fix it that could take a few weeks or more.

But now, those few weeks or more are likely to be RAMPANT with this glitch. If this MP game because unplayable because of this glitch, is only because of you spreading it around.

If this MP game survives it will be because enough people realize how bad of a thing spreading this glitch is, and the community as a whole ignores this glitch for the sake of the game.

It won't happen.  Welcome to the internet.

I'm worried this thread may soon reach self awarness and skynet will send giant robotic trolls after us.

I have a better Idea, realize what you are doing is foolish, quit trying to change the subject in a effort undermine my argument.  Your idea of getting this fixed is foolish, and that is about the only foolishness going on here.

Simply making statement about how right you are and adding "period" on the end, doesn't make you look any smarter or make you any more correct.

You have no agrument, you were in the wrong and got called out for it, then cried.

Our exchange is over.

You have no argument, you were in the wrong, got called out for it and decided to misdirect the conversation to avoid the obvious flaws in your approach to fixing the problem.  Again, I can do it too.

Feel free to ignore me if you wish, but again your method is flawed, your logic is flawed and you have no idea what you are doing.

Only you do it in a way that makes no sense.

Portoman I could care less if you reported me or not, I have already argued with you on more then one occasion and I'm convinced that you are a troll.

How you think that posting a glitch and explaining how to do it-when it's game breaking-is a good thing, is beyond me. You should have just PM'd a dev.

So I'll get banned by using a glitch that is BioWare's fault?

Holy **** I'm laughing my damn ass off at how goddamn dramatic some of you are. Get a ****in hold of yourselves. For real.

This will not become some huge everyone is doing it problem. It just won't. Furthermore, there's a really easy way to ensure that. Fear. Any time you see this, or more likely every time you hear someone even mention the possibility that it exists, say in as serious as a tone as possible that it is outright cheating, that even with game feedback turned off that Bioware can still see they're doing it, and that bioware will ban anyone outright for abusing it. Start spreading that, repeat it any time it's even hinted or brought up, and before you know it people will be too scared ****less to even try it. Fear is an amazing influence. The fact is, bioware WILL ban people outright for abusing this. So let it be known. Let it be known that they can tell even with feedback turned off. Say it firmly and with conviction. You have my word that if we all just do that, this will never grow out of control.

So settle down and take a breath people. The sky is not in fact falling.

@weezer: I appreciate the course of action you took. Making a video of the glitch is, for the purposes you used it for, fine and should not warrant a ban, honestly. I also agree that there are enough people who don't/won't exploit this that it will not make the game "unplayable", as a certain someone seems to believe it will be.

I would at least take down HOW to do it though.  That may or may not be ban worthy.  I suppose it depends entirely on who actually  takes care of it.

The same people they would be banning are the ones they depend on to buy games in the future.

I have actually been forced into using this btw.  Two days ago, I accidently glitched myself while using the black widow-no missiles period, no res ability and no ammo reload.  I had to finish wave 9 after my teamates went down with only proximity mine and energydrain.

You overestimate the integrity of players.  Just having the option to use god-mode whenver breaks things.

Would be nice if that were the case.  Sadly the Internet doesn't function that way.

Case in point: modded Xbox 360s.  Regardless how many times jerks got their consoles banned, their accounts banned, etc. they kept buying used units just to tick off everyone else (CoD:MW2).  John Gabriel's theory has yet to be subverted.

When you agreed to the terms of service agreement (or whatever the proper vocabulary is), you pretty much agreed that EA/BioWare is the boss. They can ban you for nothing at all if they damn well please, so they're well within their right to ban you for knowingly exploiting the game.
