No, you don't need extreme lag.  I have been able to play normally at any time I have replicated this bug.  My internet tests out in the B+ to A+ range on speedtest and pingtest, but the hoster might be on dial up for all I know.   You can not host and if there is low latency between you and the host it doesn't work.  I wouldn't call it exteme though.

For the record, people, do NOT try this glitch, Bioware WILL ban you, the use of any glitch that enables you to have an edge is an automatic ban, either the credit glitch or any other. The only glitches you can do which won't get you banned are those that don't give you any kind of advantage. For example, the invisible weapon glitch involving ladders, which makes guns invisible, doesn't do anything except alter appearance, therefore it is permitted both to be used and described.

DO NOT USE this glitch, or any glitch that gives you any added capabilities, ever, unless you want to be banned.

If you use it in private matches without feedback on I doubt they can ban you, or maybe they can. Not that I've tried this glitch yet.

Had you simply posted that it was a problem and needed fixing, all I'd have posted is /signed. As it is, I agree with what you want, but not at all with the way you went about getting it. I only wish you had seen the lack of sense in it sooner. I hope you don't banned, I know from experience you're a good player, we need as many such as we can get roaming the PUG's if any of us are ever to find a proper match without agonizing difficulty. Just think it through, admit this thread was ill advised, and apologize-- I'm not sure how merciful they'll be willing to be, but I can't imagine apologizing could hurt.

I didn't cheat.  I saw it used and am now pointing it out so something is done.

^ scarecrow tactic so Bioware dosen't have to actually fix anything.

so Any gun can do this?  sounds like no more   Cobras used, just to avoid their Nuke style ban policy.

Ban-threats, Scarecrow tactics, and keeping it quiet aren't options.  Before I posted this was already all over IGN, GAMEFAQS, YOUTUBE, etc.   I encountered two users of this exploit yesterday alone.

It was already known.  Bioware can go ahead and ban me. It'll only prove my point.  And the issue will stand unresolved. 

And the game will die.

It's funny how they are always ready and able to nerf things in the game, but when it comes to fixing issues that were present since the game's launch, they do nothing or their attempts at solving something becomes null and void.

I remember, years ago, when Bioware would delay game releases for months, if not YEARS.  They said it was done because they wanted to take their time and release a quality product.

What happened?  How did it come to this?  EA and bioware are obviously not a good mix.
