Autoban isn't really what people want. It's more of a ban for people who intentionally do it. These people will be doing it more than once or twice and shouldn't be hard to single out. They should be banned.lemon00 wrote...

This is accually the first I have heard of this glitch but it looks as though this glitch could be duplicated easily though honest means. To be an effective psa you should probably inform people how to avoid said glitch and if they find their scorpion shooting cobras can they break it by switching weapons. A six paragraph tirade about how cheating is bad is not a PSA.
The more you know...
It can happen by accident....so auto ban is probably not the best solution. Fixing the glitch is the best solution.

Level 1 Infiltrator score vs 3 level 20s using rocket glitch
The fact that he used it in FB:W/G/G is hilarious. I don't care if he is level 1.

I've seen this in every MP game I've played. Glitch appears, slowly increases and then it's nonstop until the glitch is patched. ME3 has been no different and I don't see that changing. People still credit glitch nonstop with little fear of getting caught. This missile glitch will be no different. Four people in a private match to breeze through Gold for max credits & XP means nobody to report them. The only people who will get caught and banned are those that do it in public games and/or recruit in public lobbies. Sad but true.
That said, ban them all!

I would remind you all that Bioware has fixed NOTHING that has been reported in the 1.03 patch.
So, while I will not use the glitch, I also will not report it.

Maintaining the integrity of the multiplayer portion of ME3 is very important to us. We will continue to investigate and reprimand those users caught exploiting this issue to gain an unfair advantage over others.
Using this glitch is a direct violation of our cheating policies and procedures:
“Tier Two” offences are the most wide spread abuses and although these will usually result in a ME3 MP ban, certain cases (such as self-reporting) will be handled case by case and will usually result in a credit wipe.

Woo! At least have an answer.
Still think they should work on... yknow... fixing the glitch, but at least there's some stance.

This is an issue in another EA game. Its called BF3! USAS Frag abuser, MAV roadkillers/climbers, Dart abusers, M320 smoke abusers...BuckshotSamurai wrote...
Sadly, OP, you are dead wrong. Not about the ban hammer that will be dropped on those that exploit this glitch, but about it not getting out of control.

wow people complain too much. there are 1000s of players. just start your own game and kick out cheaters. I've been lucky enough to find enough cool people to play with that i rarely deal with randoms anymore but hey most of my friends were randoms at 1 point too. I find it hard to believe cheating is as rampant as some of you suggets cause i rarely ever see it. and i mean rarely.
seen it at least 3 times myself but unlike what you say you cant just "kick" out cheaters without trying to kick anyone who you might.. which means you are just kicking anyone with a weapon that can suffer from lag arnt you?
you can only kick before a match starts and you cant truely know someone is going to try to cheat untill the match starts.
