Harbinger´s size?

So the biggest Ships are the Capital Ships like the Sovereign with a lenght of about two kilometers. That means Harbinger is either the same or more likely of a larger size than Sovereign.
So that means the Beamtower we are running to must either be even larger than Harbinger or he must be freaking far away from it, that we could see his full frame and the he would look smaller than the tower.
And he must have taken the weakest beams he has, because one of the Mako´s he hits, just burns down and explodes after that instead of just getting pulverized (plus Shepard survives a direct hit).
So anyone else who thinks this makes the run to the beam a little bit odd?

If Harbinger used his beam at full power, half the Earth would be glassed over. Seriously. They want to harvest the humans, so they don't glass the entire planet.
Doubtful, but if that's true, he could pick a percentage power that just vaporises everyone charging to the beam in one shot.

Just wondering if anyone else is bugged by that, but in the Codex entry of the Reapers, Harbinger is discriped as the oldes and largest of the Reapers.

Harbinger is bigger then Sovereign(Codex entries) I wouldnt say weakest because its just a game running scene. And Makos have the hardest armor to have ever existed...And Shepard cant die at that moment lol,Plot armor. Why they did that scene like that? No clue.

A regular dreadnaught is about 1 000m and a Sovereign class reaper is 2 000m

Yah, I think they misrepresented Harbinger's size just a bit, no?

It's not the size that matters, it's how he uses his beam
That kind of grossed me out.

I guess Bioware cut down his size to save gpu resources, but to be honest only the consoles would have an issue with that.

I agree, I expected reapers in ME3 to be so huge it seemed unimaginable and a little ridiculous. Like in this pic but nowhere near as extreme.Finn the Jakey wrote...
In fact, I think all the Reapers in Mass Effect 3 are a tad small, I've been up a mountain just over 2km high and the average Reaper isn't that big in-game.

Not that the reapers in Mass Effect aren't huge, but they should be like space cthulus.
Like how Harbinger says, "We will darken the sky of every world." It makes you think maybe there are more massive reapers, and the scale seems horrifying. I like that

Most reapers we see in the game are destroyers who are only supposed to be about 150 meters. Harbingers size is supposed to be over 2km though, which is clearly not the case in the game.

Yeah that´s what I had in mind when I looked at Harby the first time with the Codex in the depths of my memory. That´s why his appearance seemed a little weird to me.
