First - This doesn't seem like the correct forum. But it won't let me post in the PW forum. If someone wants to move it to the PW forum that would be great.

Second - I'm not entirely sure what a PW is and how it operates.
Is it like a MORPG where anyone just logs on at any time and starts running around?
Is it like a pen and paper game where you need to join a specific group and all log on at the same time to adventure together with a DM?

Third - I am looking for suggestions for a PW:

• Noob friendly - I try to make a good character but I don't know every possible factoid of the game
• Some RP - I like to play my character; but I will not be writing a saga, making a poem, or creating a romance with the other players
• Some Action Fights - but not a continuous dungeon crawl
• Simple - I am not very computer literate (reading some other threads) it sounds like some of them require extensive setup of the system to make it work. I will most likely fail at that.

Fourth - character suggestions (obviously specifics could be influenced by PW selection)
What I was thinking is a wood elf ranger scout archer with the dino companion. Seems like it could help any group even if not ideal. I don't want to be the party face since I'm just a noob. Ah well, just bouncing ideas off the wall on this.
