2. Along the same lines you get that "sense" that something is behind you. At some point, you need to understand on Dagger that not everything will come from in front of the control room and you develop a timer in your head that says it is time to move and check other areas.

I've developed that timer. If I don't see anything on that deck within a second and a half, I'm pulling out. Probably creeps coming in left, right, or more likely rear.

Better yet -- Just at the edge of the Wave start, you see your teammate criss-crossing the front platform and you instinctively pull out because you know those jokers just spawn-capped those spots, and you are about to get flooded left, right or rear with spawns. HAUL ASS!

Yeah that combines the spawn points bit and the timer. I can always tell if I've got clowns by rather or not they try and camp right on spawn points not understanding they will never get spawns doing so.

Really a lot of this is also understandning the maps. For example, on Ghost knowing that the building directly to the right of the LZ has windows and you can get shot through most of them from foes you might not really see or that on Dagger is is shockingly easy to get hit by flanking fire in the control room - and not from guys coming in the sides but from down below.

You feel as though there aren't enough enemies.

Once you're at that stage, you've surpassed Bronze.

QFT.  I don't think score is really the best indicator. To score top in bronze you have to ultra-rambo, which can get you killed on silver, much less gold.  I score well in gold, I'm not always first, but I'll be first or second unless it's a really tight game (10K between first and last), and then it's a toss up.  However, i don't top the boards in bronze.  I think I'm just not  aggressive enough anymore.

I think you misinterpried that. Sovereign was probably talking more about the fact that you look at the clock after the wave is done an go, "Wait... That was wave? We're on wave 7? I could have sworn it was Wave 2." It's not about score its that you realize you've gotten so good at killing enemies it seems like you barely need to lift a finger to kill them anymore. 1st, 4th, doesn't matter. If you feel the game was too short because you cleared them too fast you need to go up a difficultiy.

Had this yesterday after promoting for the first time in a while.  Public game with my level 5 DA and three level 20s - one of them armed with arc grenades - versus the geth.  It did take me a good few seconds to work out why we'd seemingly gone straight from the Wave 6 objective round to extraction...

Wave 1 must have been particularly fun for the other two players:

hh:mm:ss
00:00:00  Wave starts
00:00:03  MQI throws arc grenades
00:00:04  I throw clusters
00:00:05  "Sensors telling me only one enemy left..."

Exactly.  To top the scoreboard in Bronze on most maps, you have to run around looking for the enemies so you can kill them before anyone else gets to them.  When I play Bronze, it's usually because I want a more relaxing game, and being that aggressive is not relaxing.

Anyway, the last Bronze game I played, I soloed a Wave 10 pizza delivery mission (making both deliveries and taking out 2 Brutes, a Banshee, and 3 Ravagers) and it didn't seem that hard.  That means I'm probably too good for Bronze.  I'll still play it though.

When you search for a Bronze match for your lvl 1 HA, get dropped in to a Silver instead (@!#*&!% server) and you didn't really notice until wave 11. I was third on the board, but didn't drag the team down.
