Top Conversations You Hear On the Mic

So I got to thinking about prior matches and remembered ones where I'd hear "ooh's" and "ahhh's" as I'd do biotic explosions along with other gameplay, people talking about what they'd do to a Banshee if given the chance, etc. What's your favorite conversations you've heard or taken been subject to in MP?

"HOLY **** HE JUST SENT THAT PHANTOM FLYING"
"THAT KROGAN IS CRAZY MAN!"
"LOOK AT THE KROGAN HE JUST AIN'T GIVING A ****"
"HE'S JUST HEADBUTTING EVERYTHING"

While it's true that they got the killshots, I didn't have the heart to tell them that I was doing most of the damage with my 3 claymore shots. I just let them think that they killed every banshee we faced, even though each of them ended with fewer than 30k points.

at least it wasn't personal right?
My favorite convo's are with my friends but in random lobbies? Probably the one where a guy actually knew what my name meant

I've also met a few young children, but they dont seem nearly as obnoxious on other games, particularly FPS's.

I've had other games where the other three get wiped out and I'm left to finish the Wave/Objectives. It's great when the other players are on the mic cheering you on & encouraging you as you make progress. Makes it so much more worth-while and you don't get that "meh, it's not worth it, they all died, why should I bother" feeling you otherwise might.
One Bronze game I was in trying to level up my Infiltrator after promoting I completely dominated. There was also another Infiltrator on the team. No one was complaining about how well I was doing, in fact they were impressed, had fun & were happy they could relax a bit and try out their builds instead of having a constant feeling of panic & pressure. They also took it as a sort of training session/what to look forward to.
Not nearly as interesting but it was a great few games. No verbal abuses/raging either. Quite the opposite sentiment of these forums regarding that last one. (And it's great to hear when other players are thankful/relieved I just headshotted the Phantom that was on their ass.)

Which also makes me wonder how many players accidentally go out of their way to flirt with squeaky voiced 12 year-olds.

I hope those gentlemen realized that the Europeans were the ones killing all the natives back then... it was sort of their calling card.
Anyways, I'm sure that when I play with my buddies, that one random dude who ends up with us thinks we're utterly insane. We have our own little lingo since We've lived together for so long. If I'm in a room full of randoms and some of them happen to have mics, we more or less coordinate our movements over voice and make random comments about performance and classes. Strangely enough, some of my most mature conversations in XBox Live occured while playing Mass Effect 3.

Well I hope they weren't from any of the European countries that took part in sea or land exploration between the 15th and early 20th centuries, and that none of their ancestors fought in wars of subjugation or conquest, and that they themselves completely abstain from all corporate goods and services and governmental functions that reinforce patterns of domination and dependency. I'm sure they're clean as a whistle, because if not, how awkward would that be?

There was this guy, who sounded like he was Indian, telling this other guy that he had every single weapon to X, and all Characters etc, but there was no way of me knowing personally.
Just found it pretty funny, because the guy he told was new to the game.

This.
I think for XBL, this is one of the more mild mannered communities.

Any game in which a female/transgender female with a mic is involved. The pandering towards them is completely shameless. Not to mention they get faster revives.

lol, I want to play with more female players just to see this in action. Sometimes even if you just use a female character people think you're a girl....

I was playing against reaper with two vorcha and QME (or QMI? I forget). They both had reeger Xs and they were all like, "yeah, get ready, we're going to light up that banshee with our reegers! get ready! GHOSTBUSTERS! LIGHT THAT B!#CH UP! YEAH, WE KILLED IT."
While it's true that they got the killshots, I didn't have the heart to tell them that I was doing most of the damage with my 3 claymore shots. I just let them think that they killed every banshee we faced, even though each of them ended with fewer than 30k points.
Sounds like a match I was in a few days or so ago. there were 2 Vorcha, my QME with a Eviscorator X and I don't remember the other guy but I do know I was tac scanning and he was rockin a claymore and all the 2 vorcha could do was talk about owning everything with their ghostbuster guns. I think I came second to the non vorcha but score doesn't matter. I do know they weren't even doing as much damage as they thought, since the Claymore and Eviscorator did most of the work as did my occasional arc grenades with electrical damage.
Either you were the other guy or that is just a cool coincidence.

Wasn't me (because I came in second, too) but if you ever want to play together and you're on eksbocks, message me and I'll give you my eksbocks live tag.
Another time, I was listening to two players, one of whom was a noob and the other had been playing for a while but was still a noob, the total noob was saying things like "Yeah, is the carnifex good? I don't think it is, I'll do much better with my viper. Look at that guy over there [talking about me] playing with his carnifex x. Bahahahaha, let's boot him!"
And then I was booted.

I was playing an Unknown/Cerberus/Gold game last night with another person from the BSN and two randomers, and as soon as one of them entered the lobby he promulgated over the mic that we had to change the location to Firebase White. "Put it on Firebase White, it's the easiest one. Firebase White, easiest one." And then when I didn't, he repeated it over and over again. Then a kick mark appeared on his name and he started shouting "why you trying to kick me for? Just put it on Firebase White!" We started the match anyway on unknown and he wouldn't stop dying...I lagged out in wave 3 and thought maybe it was for the best.
It was for the best. Trust me.
That game was awful. <_<

"Holy ****, look at this wanker! Get a life, man! Do you even sleep? ****!"
And through the whole match I was verbally assaulted by him. Every time I went down he had to make a comment about me being rubbish, and when I was killing things efficiently he was praising me as a "bleedin' gatling gun with feet!" I was not at all offended. In fact I was laughing through most of the match.
