Sad, one of my best match on gold was with a Batarian soldier with GPS and a Geth Infil (can't remember what he was using) on FB Giant against cerberus. I was playing my trusty AA. It went very smoothly, very smoothly indeed.

I once had two Italians guys who spoke the whole time. Seriously, I don't think they stopped even once. I had to wonder when they took  time to breath. And they swore quite a bit whenever they went down. It was quite funny.

Which also makes me wonder how many players accidentally go out of their way to flirt with squeaky voiced 12 year-olds.

I'm a woman and I haven't had this happen to me. The guys seem more interested to see if I am a good player. I did run into this when I played with 3 randoms the other night . 2 guys and 1 other girl and every time the other chick would go down one of the guys would say "I'm coming sweetness." Even if I was right next to her to make the revive he would rush from the other side of the map. 

On topic: I've been in many lobbies where some 10 year old is talking to the only other person with a mic and the kid is asking them if they've played COD. Makes me chuckle, roll my eyes, and then leave. Played a game last night with two friends and a random. I thought the random might quit because they didn't have a mic and we were all talking with eachother but they stuck around and sent us all friend requests so I guess they enjoyed our conversation.

i uninstalled my resurgence DLC so i could get my rebellion stuff faster (still haven't gotten that pesky MQE, and its been 2 weeks!) and since i uninstalled it my matchmaking has been slower because i can only play with ppl who dont have it.

that being said, i joined a gold game with a couple of guys from some european country (poland i think...) who were speaking another language. i was like oh boy here we go. i asked them to ready up when one of them piped up in surprisingly god english we're waiting for 1 more. (R/R/G so yeah 4 ppl would be nice) so i said ok

now being an american myself i hate all the stereotypes i hear because i am nothing like that, but the next guy who joined pretty much met ALL of the stereotypes that americans are tagged with. and he got booted shortly thereafter which made me laugh cuz i was like why'd you do that? and the leader said cause he was a bloody idiot. then a N7 lvl 4 joined without a mic and i voted to kick and the polish guy was like nah its alright we'll carry him through

we then proceded to have the most funniest of games ever! the other polish guy had some very poor english, and he kept telling me to do stuff that i didnt understand and the other one would say phillup he speaks english, to which that guy said, "there are bloody ****ing phantoms up my ****hole over here give me some heeeelp! @%$#&^*#@%&%@$*#&!@!

i then proceeded to laugh my ass off. we finished the game with a partial extraction (poor bastard got grabbed by phantoms) and the lvl 4 had like no points, he got carried the whole time, but all in all a very fun and funny game. he was rank 13 after the match was complete too lol

The other day I could hear a child that sounded about 2 on mic. I thought to myself bloody hell players are getting younger and younger. Then I heard the dad (presumably) tell the kid to stop running around.

I usually try voicechat, hoping someone will respond back. I'm on pc so most of the time I'm just talking into a void.
It's weird because you have no idea whether you're annoying people or not. 

But it's really fun when you meet a bunch of guys that talk back. Today I chatted with this guy during a game, and someone else who was playing with us turned on his mic on later games that we played together.

Cracked a few jokes, tried to strategize and basically shoot the sh%t together. Fun times.

Once there was this guy playing Harbinger quotes at appropriate places. Like when we fought this massive horde of brutes and banshees and I heard Harby go "Kill one and a thousant more will replace it" or whatever the line is.

It. was. AWESOME. and totally weird. I died a couple of times from laughing too much.

I got dropped into a game with an batarian Sentinal hitting on a FQI pretty badly.
He was constructing mountains of innuendo, glorious and obnoxious at the same time, about him trapping her in his net and enslaving her heart, about freeing her from her suit to see the sun and die in his strong arms, or how she with her shapely hips alone can rescue him from a life of heinous crime and whatnot.

She (it was actually a woman playing the FQI) would just go "Ahem... yes... OK... Aha... yes..." while dishing out headshots. 

Once he realized I was playing an FQI as well, despite me being a dude, there was no stopping him.
He went on about threesomes, even though I was "transgender", he was totally down with it, it wouldn't count as a devils threesome as long as my avatar had boobies, and we were to give good head... shots and stroke the big guns and so forth. 

He kept that up for another 2 matches, nobody quit, it was too hilarious.

I seriouly hope the 4th guy was over 18 though.

What's weird is when people don't talk one word, and then on wave 8, you revive them and you get a short, but loud  and clear "thank you" and that's it for the reminder of the game again.

Finnish people be chatty.

I can't blame the guy. Lady Quarians are worthy of being brought home to meet the 'rents based on having Sabotage alone. The glorious hips and bumbum are just a bonus.

Well, I don't often hear anyone speaking whenever I play.

But, there was this one time that I played with some random girl who used the mic quite a lot. Acceptable skills. During the times she went down and couldn't be revived, she always called out the enemies sneaking on surviving players and was always encouraging everyone after each wave with a "Good job guys." or some such.

That, and a bunch of teenagers from the US, laughing and shouting profanity at all those floating Cannibals I keep using Pull on. It was strange. Shouting at floating Cannibals.

I don't have a mic myself, and I don't hear much on PC, but I did have a game today where all three other players were swearing at me for "hogging the enemies on the far side of the map" during a wave 10 retrieval. And here I thought keeping enemies away from the carrier was a good thing... Then all three got executed by banshees during wave 11. Suddenly they became very friendly and helpful. Nothing had a chance of sneaking up behind me anymore.

Which is ironic because the Europeans were the ones who began the killing of native americans. i.e. the conquistadors, french-indian war, britis settlers, and the fact that native americans were used as slaves before african people.
