Miranda's romance exclusive bits were more than what most got,

No they weren't. This is patently false. Did you even romance her?

many would be happy that their favourite character actually showed up more than twice.

I would hope so. Almost everyone's favorite character showed up more than twice, with the exception of Thane.

The way I see it is that Miranda practically got her own mission at the end as well, nor was she forgotten about in ME3.

Sanctuary was NOT about Miranda. Miranda's presence doesn't change ANYTHING about the mission. The fact she can be dead before the mission even starts confirms this.

I'm finding it hard to show sympathy when Miranda got a better role than most, and had the best romance in ME2.

That's just, like, your opinion, man.

You were not pushed away from Miranda. There was no fight, break up or death.

No, but if you break up up qith her, she dies. She's also the only romance where this is even possible.

You got to rekindle your old relationship with Miranda FIRST, I believe.

Jack, actually. But, y'know, whatever.

Despite not being a squadmate, at least Miranda was always being included some way or another.

Now, Thane fans have it rough.

That's why Miranda has a rockin' Cerberus arc in ME3. Wait, her entire character arc in ME3 is just loyalty mission 2.0. There's NO development (if anything, it's character regression, since they all but deconstructed her ever being with Cerberus) whatsoever.

She didn't get as bad as Thane or Jacob, but she didn't get anything remotely "good". Saying she did is a boldfaced lie.

Traynor in one game, Liara in another, Garrus in a third. With so many options, I could never restrict myself to just one canon playthrough.

Miranda got a good role compared to others, I said. Nobody got 'good' unless their names are Liara, Garrus or Kaidan, IMO. Tali, Garrus, Cortez ect all got the “fade to black” sex scene as well. Some didn't even get that. Thane got an unavoidable death even if you didn't break up with him, at least you didn't get that forced down your throat I suspect y'all would be whining a lot worst if you had.

Well, if you have Miranda alive, she plays a big part in Sanctuary. I consider it her mission. Practically everybody is replaceable anyway since the suicide mission was a completely stupid idea. But that's what BW wanted to do, and it's not getting changed now.

Her role isn't "big" if it can be completely subverted.

Don't care. Still showed up. Still was badass. Pushed a guy out a window with her biotics. Saved day. Gave me the information I needed.

There's no need to argue which romance was the right one. Everyone has their preferences. For me, it was Thane. Yeah, great, "bittersweet" conclusion in ME3. I wonder where is the sweet part... Oh, he didn't cheat on Shepard, maybe we should be thankful for that. Still, he acted as though it was already over "we both knew this would end, enjoy the time you have" or something like that. No, that's just bitter, nothing more.

And his cameo as well as Miranda's or Jack and so on wasn' t enough. They all could be easily replaced, and that makes their roles less significant...

Samara is My only Shep's LI, he romanced Liara in ME1, but upon returning from the dead he didn't have any emotional connection to his memories of Liara. He became smitten with Samara, and she is his one and only.

I can see that Shep going around belting out Whitesnake tunes to win Samara. Because it's something I'd do. Whitesnake has some of the coolest love songs and come on David Coverdale has one of the greatest voices ever.

EDIT I had another Shep who was created to be the ultimate treat to the galaxy by
doing nearly everything he could to get the worst ending in ME3, (for
obvious reasons he'll never be seen again). Of couse there were some things I couldn't bring Shep Spectre of Doom to do, such as kill Wrex and Samara. Anyway in ME1 his LI was Ashley, ME2 his LI was Jack, he had a fling with Kelly and Kissed Miranda and told her it was just because, he also tried to get with Samara.

The only sweet bit I can see to the Thane romance is that if Shepard dies they get to be together again and your LI isn't stranded on a planet without you.  Plus in the hospital scene Shepard said to Thane he wouldn't be alone long so I do think it's kind of fitting.

But what if Shepard lives at the end? She wanted to do everything right and because of that she ended up completely alone with mass relays blown, her friends far away and Thane dead. Besides, who would want to wait until "across the sea"? :(

That logic is flawed. Miranda got treated like all the other ME2-squadmates...
Jacob, Jack and Samara along with all the others also all got their own mission. Everyone "saved the day" on their own way, being the same replaceable avatar. They are all equally side-lined and ignored.
Miranda is just the biggest deal imo, because she was supposed to be the Tali or Mordin for the Cerberus arc...

I loved romancing Jacob just for the scene where it turns out he's gone out with another woman.

It was a really funny scene.
It was.

If you don't believe me, watch this video.

All of my fem!Sheps were Thane's (and only one had a fling with Kaidan in ME1, the rest were Thane exclusive). So, I put my first import into me3, saw Thane, went numb (stunned silence)..........turned the game off; never finished.

In ME and ME2 I had male Shepards that had romanced Ashley, Liara, Jack, Miranda, Tali, and one who was holding out hope for Samara.

This thread again? Alright I'll bite:

If it wasnt obvious for my femsheploos its Thane and Jacob...the forbidden sandwhich.

As for Malesheploo...I basically pulled a Zap Brannigan playthrough, on the spouse's xbox, and turned into a walking sexual harassment law suit. While Thane became my Kiff.

M!Shepard
: Well Hello Ashely, we meet again. Did I tell you I'm dying here like my dear friend here?
Asheley: Really? I hope its noncurable.
M!Shepard: Well infact it is incurable...from being a sexy disease. What is it Thane?
Thane:*sigh* Sexlexia Shepard.
M!Shepard:And unlike my green friend here I need constant loving to keep it at bay. Care to give me my mediction Gunnery Chief? *Ash walks away* Wait baby, come back! I cant self apply it again tonight!.....Thane prepare the sad music, Hagen Daz and lotion in my quarters.
Thane: *walks away shaking head*

Thats how I always imagined it.

Pretty much with every female love interest, with my male Shep and none with my female Shep. This includes Kelly and Samara. I consider Ashley my favorite though.
