Btw, isn't the The Witcher series notorious for its sex scenes?(honest question, I want to know what I'm buying)

I greatly enjoyed Skyrim, because it gives you so much freedom. There's not one or the other storyline restricting you (you can even postpone the main storyline for as long as you like) and the world is just beautiful. I liked exploring and then randomly stumbling upon on or the other nasty dungeon. I especially liked the Dwemer-themed dungeons, they immediately made me imagine what kind of culture this ancient people must've had, and what they left behind certainly may be called impressive. The environments were beautiful. I really could keep on travelling and keep on discovering new things. As for the leveling system, this also gave you a lot of freedom. Finally I could be a mage who isn't too much of a weakling to wear armour and be able to wield not only magic, but also weapons. Even though I know its part of being a mage, I sometimes get annoyed with the whoe idea of mages being too weak to wear a decent piece of armour. Both Skyrim and Dragon Age: Origins handled this issue well (DA:O by introducing the Arcane Warrior perk) and I certainly appreciate it. As for the quests, I thought the major quest lines were executed pretty well. I enjoyed the College og Winterhold quest and the Dark Brotherhood quest the most. Joining the Thieves Guild was interesting too, but that quest sometimes irked me, for example, how my PC was forced to vow her eternal loyalty to one or the other goddess she didn't know, nor should care about. (she's the Dragonborn, lol) I also sometimes had the impression that the fact you're the Dragonborn was severly undervalued. I mean, the Dragonborn doing fetch quests? Most NPCs considered the PC to be just another normal person. (hat I'm trying to say is that, even though you're the Dragonborn, most of the time you don't feel like it when interacting with the villagers and nobles. Mind you, I don't want a crowd of fanboys following my character everywhere she goes, nor a fanfare whenever she kills a chicken. Just a bit more recognition of my PC's unique skills would be appreciated. As for the fetch quests...Well, every RPG has such quests. Yet I feel like the developers could have made missions so much more intruiging. It's lost potential. Same with the NPCs, especially followers. Followers NEED a more detailed background. They NEED to be more fleshed out. Out of all the followers, I thought Cicero to be the most interesting because of the Dark Brotherhood quest, and because he had a certain background story to him. Unfortunately Bioware still is much better on the filed of characterization. The combat was quite ok. I sometimes had the feeling the magic spells were a bit too weak, but that might've also been my own fault for not properly training my PC into using magic all the time. I certainly have had some tough battles, but the more your character levels up, the easier it becomes to slay a dragon and the harder it is to find a real challenge again. I think my level 70 character can now handle pretty much everything that's thrown at her. So yeah, was Skyrim the perfect game of all time? No, certainly not. But I sure enjoyed it a lot, which can be shown in the +200 hours I have played it thus far. It certainly was worth every cent of the 50 euros I paid for it.
