I find playing the same map over and over again, boring. I usually leave my map selection on random when farming gold. I also back out of any lobby immediately that is FBWGG.

I was merely pointing out that as a farm map going for credits / time, Glacier is the top by a long shot.  I can think of several people who have soled this map on gold in under 22 minutes.  4 man speed runs can even approach 10 minutes.

What he said. It has no direct corelation to skill, although people are usually professionals (=get paid to do it) because they're better than majority at what they do.

Pro is being able to run unknown/unknown/gold, equipped with common weapons, with three N7 1 players, without dying, without letting the others bleed out, and getting full extraction, while not playing any infiltrator, male quarian, or human vanguard.

The thing is he told me that he is a pro, but he was using a Krysae X with Salarian Infiltrator, said that Glacier is hard and before that was playing on FBWGG, so i'm missing something now.... what is being a pro?, because I had a different thing in my head.

Anyway for me, a pro player (in a co-op game WTF) can take anyclass and be effective with it on gold.

Really a professional is someone that gets paid to participate in their sport (not counting actual professionals that do a profession like doctors or dentists, etc).

However, in game land people have used the term "pro" to mean a good player.

I imagine RedJohn qualifies with his crazy solo skills.

Just means you've already learned most lessons and are able to pass those lessons on, while being able to still complete a gold match as you are teaching them.

A pro knows the best places to hold out, knows how and when to call audibles, makes the players he plays with better just by being there, and makes everyone feel comfortable about their skill level. A pro never makes a weaker player feel weak, but instead see them as an opportunity in which to teach. At the end of the day, a pro is simply someone who has been there, done that, learned their lessons well, and graciously now pass them on to others.

For what it's worth though, rocking a kersay x has no bearing on whether someone is or isn't a pro. Being a pro isn't about weapon nor class at all, actually.

Being a "pro" in a game where you fight computer bots, are you kidding me? There are no pros in this game. Pros are in PvP not co-op. I could care less that you can solo gold with a level one character sporting a predator because all you are doing is beating a computer that's using a move set-pattern recogination, good job. Who gives a rats ass about anyone beating Street Fighter or Halo on the hardest difficulty? A player is "pro" when they can win PvP tournaments.

Meh, technically speaking if you get paid for it you can call yourself pro lol.  I don't know anyone who gets paid to play this though.

Pros are not in PvP games. Whiney 12 year old kids that think they're tough s*** because they're playing M rated games are in PvP games.
