Actually, it was more "how do you reload-cancel" because I have seen quite a few threads about it recently but there was no definition.
I thought it meant that when you are reloading and start doing something else, it cancels the reload so you're out of ammo next time you want to shoot (which is a PITA on slloowww sniper rifles).
But what it actually means, apprently, is cutting down on the reload-animation, so your weapon reloads much faster.
For example, you reload almost twice as fast when you're in cover.
Apparently hitting the medigel button as soon as you fire makes the reload go a lot faster, too.
Note that I've not tried this yet.

Geth are the best class ever.
Period.
Javelin is the best sniper.
Geth Pulse Rifle is amazing..... if you know how to aim.
Phantoms hack. Deal with it.
Amen!!!

It's easier to set BE, Tech Bursts etc, on turrets and drones, since not everyone is targeting those, you wont prime then for nothing, besides, they can't dodge or block those...

+1
I've really been in derp mode this past week and I think my stupid downs / deaths are a result of this reason. I should just play as I always have, being fully aware.

Not quite correct. You hit a power just when the ammo counter switches from 0 to 1 (or whatever the max clip ammo or the weapon is). The animation gets canceled and you have a loaded weapon in your hands. On some weapons with long reload animations, it's a real benefit (like all big sniper rifles, Widow, Javelin or the Claymore, Reegar) on others you won't make much of a difference (Valiant, Avenger etc), It's best to use 7 since normally you don't want to set off a power while reloading, so take 7 which doesn't do anything as you're not dead. But on infiltrators cloak usually works just as well.
Regarding the reloading whil in cover - it doesn't reload any faster while in cover. Maybe you accidentally did a reload cancel, as getting into cover, sprinting, and just about anything that causes another animation will cancel the reload animation.

I would say this thread is good, but I've read too many silly/authoritative statements in it to be able to say that overall.

- Sabotage is useful, even on non-geth. Especially on turrets and phantoms
- Claymore with Arpen and reload-cancelling on a cloaked GI with hunter-mode = Beast
- Human sentinel = Beast
- Krogan soldier 0/6/6/6/6 with incendiary ammo = Fire explosions. Fire explosions everywhere
- If you're not good with the Kishock, don't use it. You'll never be good
- Kill-stealing doesn't exists and score doesn't matter
- Revive people if you can, that way, you're more likely to be revived when needed/possible
- Grenades are fun, and are to be used against large stacks of mobs
- If you end up on firebase Jade, you're gonna have a bad time!

If your teammate needs reviving but there's a turret nearby, focus on the turret first.
Phantoms Insta-Kills CAN be interrupted mid animation with a well timed disengagement of barrier or tech armor.
If you see a cluster of Boss enemies, fire a damn rocket!
Headbutt only against single foes, and only when they're unshielded.

Top 10:
1. Rushing to the dead person isn't always a good idea. They died in spot X for a reason - don't join them.
2. Running away from foes doesn't make you a wimp..sometimes it makes you smart
3. Spawn points, seriously understand these and you can do a lot to control the battlespace.
4. Don't kill the Banshees, kill everything around her if she isn't chasing you and then finish her off at your leisure.
5. Rockets, really, use them on wave 10.
6. Assault rifles are worthless.
7. How to stagger guardians and then shoot them before the shield comes back up
8. Tactical Cloak isn't just for sniping, it works great for melee.
9. Be where the team isn't. Not going Rambo but covering that "other" side of the map. Keeps the team safe and racks up a ton of kills usually.
10. Never trust PUG players to cover your rear. Always look around even if you think your back is covered.

150-200% recharge on all casters all the time- only excuse to be under 200 is not a high enough level paladin or carnifex.
I will debate these two whoever said them. The difference, in game, between 185% and 200% is negligible. since you ARE human, you probably won't be "ON" enough to make that difference matter - if it means bringing a more effective weapon - do it.
And i always use Tech Armor on my human sentinel -- it really doesn't slow down your cooldowns that much if you have light weapons - And you can make it slow them down even less with the final evolution -- the survivability boost is WELL worth it on harder difficulties

It isn’t the banshees, brutes, atlases, or primes that take out most people... they are usually slow moving and generally your teammates get caught up in focusing on them... This makes people die by taking fire from ravagers, marauders, cannibals, hunters, centureons, etc... Sometimes you need to be the guy ignoring the bigger enemies to focus on the swarms of smaller enemies. When possible, save the atlases and primes for last...
Do NOT waste missiles in the first 6 or 7 waves... unless you are getting overrun during an upload wave... I see Far too many people using their missiles on wave 3 and then the team ends up getting over run on wave 9 and 10...
pick your class based on what the other players are using...
Use projectile weapons that will stagger enemies (Falcon, Geth Plasma Shotgun...) especially if you are a power dependant class... Most enemies can dodge your powers, stagger them first then hit them with your powers. Phantoms are not scary if you can stagger them...
