I loaded Matix X and PhaestonX/GethAssaultX with explosive incendiary. The high rate of fire with that ammo mod melts through enemy's health. Also used energy drain as extra power. Wiped most shields out or close to and it stuns the target.

I carried only the Particle Rifle with extended barrel and extended mag with explosive incendiary ammo. Energy Drain as my bonus power. He got me my Insanity and Unwavering achievements.

GPR w. Explosive Ammo ftfw. Stopped using anything else. Too brainlessly good.

Will probably try Harrier when that becomes available later today.

Same here, except I used AP mod instead of extended clip. Made cheese of Guardians.

Well on testing for explosive ammo particle rifle is better, Sure ADAS is good against shield but its rate of fire is 300 or so while particle rifle has a rate of fire of 650 and more base dmg when its in hyper beam mode.

Yeah, I tried out the particle rifle. Just wasn't to my taste. Actually, I liked the Phaeston the best for sound and feel, etc, but Geth was much more stable. After switching from Phaeston to Geth, I had problems for awhile hitting my target because I was so used to adjusting for Phaeston's jump.
