Ponies have one critical weakness.  Good old-fasioned human HATE. And revulsion. Ok, that's two things.
And weapons. Can't forget weapons... Three things.


And I personally hate fiction races/parasites that can attack and absorb everything. It's an insult to my intellect.

I agree. Heck, those guys can evil travel through time to assimilate you before you can put up a fight.

Im trying to think of this game or whatever.This race made themselves dumb so they wouldnt be harvested by an advance one.But something happened and they couldnt make themselves smart again when the threat passed.

Star Control 3, the precursors turned themselves into dumb animals.  Those dumb animals ended up being cows, which were tasty to most races in the galaxy.

Probably humans, as they're regularly shown as the most militaristic and largest personality in the galaxy in most series.

Cynical producers and writers feeding off american hubris and wishful daydreaming. Yea, right, we're so superior in the end, "because we have feelings, because we have indomitable spirit, because we can love, because we're individualists, because we have God on our side",..

...But they won't. Because they couldn't care less if you put up a fight or not. "Resistance is futile" is just a traditional courtesy.
