A place where peace have been taken for granted for millenia suddenly meeting full scale war. Liara's reaction is completely understandable, add that it finally hit home for her. I did feel sad for the asari, more so than earth TBH.
I got the impression that Shepard is upset for failing a mission that could basically have been the last before Earth if not KL had come with his gunship and plot armor thinking he have a say in who's a coward.
Agree with your points though, kinda like how the cheapened Miranda's character which was otherwise good with giving her ass so damn much screen time.

So killing Udina did not feel THAT satisfying. Mostly because you never really fully know why he sided with cerberus

I admit that I felt sad when Thessia fell even though they kind of had it coming. But I honestly felt nothing for the kid. Well, I felt annoyance over the unskippable dreams and cutscenes. But that's it.
Oh and yes. You are a bad person

These are the people you couldn't save. Hear them speak. They followed you, and now they are dead because of decisions you made. Feel guilty. *refuses to feel guilty* See the child. Now it burns. I SAID FEEL GUILTY DAMMIT!
I still refuse. I did my best. I shouldn't be measured against an impossible perfection.

Sadly the correct dose of fanservice is hard to achieve in a game. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

That's okay, Legion wouldn't have wanted you messing with their coding via synthesis anyway. Thane on the other hand... Maybe Synthesis could have been his salvation. Who knows.

While this actually has SO much truth to it, I don't think that the problem is so much 'damned if you do, damned if you don't' but more like 'damned if you do ($), damned if you don't (appease hardcore fans).
Whatever little things have or haven't been included that fans don't like/agree with. The bigger issue is the abandonment of Mass Effect elements to draw in a larger crowd. And then they say that they did enhance RPG elements by providing more diversity in power upgrades. though that is true, it doesn't make up for the other 10+ elements they completely removed.

Keep it the Child if everyone magically lives. I don't get how Bioware thought giving us a brand new character we speak to once and suddenly having Shepard, the man who can throw a Merc out a window, be sad.
This is an Annoyed opinion. FEEL ANNOYED TOO, DAMMIT.

Actually, not taking the interrupt *is* somewhat stupid. In my tabletop RPGs, I have a secret rule that characters won't die unless they do something incredibly stupid. I wouldn't hesitate to let a character die who didn't take the first opportunity to break the main villain's mind control.filetemo wrote...

How many times I should repeat myself...
Neither the story nor the presentation of this game wants you to feel anything about that kid. At least not about a particular person. "The child represent people who died" for a reason. He marginally distinguishes from the characters who have introductions, names, features, ideas, conflicts bla bla bla and take %80 of game time. He was to be a random face and he always will be. Why do you guys even think otherwise?
Anyway, you thought you should have felt something about him, maybe because you think you should feel every single child on this very planet. Fine. You are free to ignore the Catalyst scene.

Ok... I'm glad you put that last because I stopped reading right there!
Mirandas posterior can not, I repeat, can not have too much screen time.
Actually I heard her backside is getting it's own spin-off anime series which i'm looking forward to.

ah, no.
A paragon/renegade interrupt is since it's very conception, an OPTION. You can take it or not to suit your Shepard's personality. NEVER in the saga you died for not taking a flavor interrupt.

That's how much sadness I feel for that atrocity! Damn I'm sad! Oh god please someone stop the tears!
I happen to be from London and vividly recall those 72 hours last August when creepy dead-eyed kids in hoodies tried to loot and burn the entire city down. So not only do I have no innate sympathy for them, I'd much prefer to take my chances with the Reapers

But seriously that was the most contrived scene in the entire game. MY shepard was throwing a tantrum because kai leng just 'beat him'. WHY am I shouting at the screen "CALM THE **** DOWN SHEPARD!"
And then Traynor just HAPPENS to know where kai leng prolly went. /sigh
also.. in homage to kai leng...
