Actually chose Destroy (synthesis is not even an option for me), but I keep forgeting that people in today's society feel there's no such thing as politicians trying to actually do the right thing. I admit politics are pretty bad right now, but they are not all so evil and out for their own gain. Thinking with that mind set just leads to ignorance.

This is why I think the lack of hub worlds was a big mistake for the game. Aside from not actually getting to see these homeworlds like we thought we would, they missed a big chance at emotional impact. Shepard moping and the sad music would have been more effective if we had visited Thessia as a hub (or any world, really) only to come back on a mission and see it destroyed.
