"Community Coordinators" work for BioWare, but are certainly not "the BioWare team", and because this person personally finds the theory fun and interesting does not make it an endorsement of anything.

Please, the list is endless on *both* sides, the pro-IT people aren't hurt, little waifs being attacked by the big bad wolf here. Stop trying to portray pro-IT people as victims.

I don't believe in IT but I never insulted IT-supporters. Other people, however, feel disillusioned and betrayed by the ending and they use IT-threads to say things like:

"Accept it, the game ending just sacks." "Bioware can't write anymore" "ecc. ecc."

It's probably just because they are angry and coping with the endings themselves in a very childish way.

I also believe that this childish behavior lead to all the theories about conspiracies by EA and BioWare to steal our money.

Because, if by ‘believe’ you mean ‘thinks it was the purpose all along’, it is delusional.

I think the IT would have been an excellent way out for BioWare, and there was enough material to make it plausible, but it certainly was not the “true ending” of the game. ME3 really just did suck that much. Sorry.

That’s the main problem with IT. People insisting that it IS in the game, rather than that it SHOULD BE in the game.

Well of course BW are going to like IT, because on the whole ITers are more happy with the endings than everyone else.

Most people who believe IT aren't delusional, although there are some who clearly will use any piece of evidence which could vaguely be related to IT and ignore the circumstances around it and other explanations that provide a better reason for it. Furthermore, I think on the whole ITers are a little more strident in their beliefs and have to defend at every single turn.

This is just from observations, of course there are many delusionals on both sids

That's all there is to it. And yes, I do get pretty offensive about IT-ers too when they call me stupid or fanboy or whatever for not following the IT. Don't call me names, and I won't call you names either. And please, try to keep the whole IT to one thread, instead of making new threads about it all the time and spamming every other topic with it.

Whether its pro/anti IT, who is the best LI, my play-style is better than your play-style, whatever the bandwagon of the day is.

Is one of the reason's I try to stay out of such 'discussions'. ^.^

I have yet to call any IT supporter stupid. I just don't find the theory very convincing as much of the presented evidence is full of assumptions and speculation, not solid proof and I get a little annoyed when it's treated as fact. I don't flat out insult people.

As likely or unlikely as IT will be, you can't flat out say that.

To OP, it's because there are some that get a bit... carried away with the theory. But the people on the other side of the fence throwing tomatoes at these people and calling them stupid are not better (not talking about you AngryOne).

Fact is, until EC drops, everything is subjective

Largely because they feel the IT people are desperately grasping at straws for the ending to be not so bad.

I just don't believe the theory because:

A. I think Bioware is good at writing and making the entire final minutes of the game a dream sequence is bad writing.

B. It removes what little choice exists in the current endings in favor of a simplistic "You're right, you're wrong." dichotomy.

C. I think Bioware is good, but not nearly that subtle, never have been.

Hence why I think IT believers are fooling themselves. That Bioware finds their theories amusing does not vindicate them.

I don't think all IT-ers are stupid. I also don't think all Creationists are stupid or all 9-11 "truthers" are stupid. That doesn't mean they aren't incredibly wrong.

They get mocked because we have two sequels worth of bottom of the barrel pulp schlock hack writing to point to that prove that the ending isn't just some fluke of bad writing but the logical conclusion to an ill-conceived trilogy where not a god damn thing was planned in advance and where they were just winging it.

Also,according to the ITers freaking MAC WALTERS is a genius writer who's a master of subtlety but yet the same guy can't even write a decent comic.

If the "IT" would have remained some people's head canon instead of being passed around as some serious "theory" then none of this feuding would have happened. Instead we have these IT loons ranting and raving about their "theory" being the ONE TWOOTH and some of them even have signatures where they mock people as being "deluded" or "selfish" for picking control or synthesis.
