Does anyone else remember how Oghren used to have a character information page and then they took them all down to begin slowly releasing them? The old pages didn't have screenshots or animated bits. Just the same writing. He's stayed grey so long I almost thought they'd replaced him with Sten and forgotten to update the website to remove him. It's good to know others are concerned for his absence too.

I wish he didn't have that stupid sticking up hair bit at the front. It just makes him look silly. The shaved patch on his chin is annoying too but it loks like it might be a Stubble Trouble tribute (Stubble was one of the four characters for one of the later Fighting Fantasy gamebooks that featured the warlock of firetop mountain again, something's revenge?) Hmm, I should probably look it up. There was Abraxas the Knight, Salazar the Wizard, a barbarian and Stubble the dwarf.

And who on earth is Steve Blum? I've never heard of the guy so that's no selling point for me. Now if they'd announced  a dwarven character with Brian Blessed or Sean Connery doing the voice then I'd immediately say "yes, that was good casting" but when they make such a big deal about an apparent nobody I can only assume it's someone the americans know very well.

He provided the voice of the character Mugen in the anime "Samurai Champloo", for example, and did an awesome job I might add. I am pretty confident in his abilities and that he will be able to pull off an dwarven character just as well as he did with Mugen....

Just in case you want an example, Mugen is the guy with the red jacket you see in 0:13, the one who's killing off the men in the restaurant.
And given Mugen's character, temper and motivations Steve Blum provided a perfect voice.

Maybe you should give the voice actor a chance before you criticize him.  :)

Dont forget Spike in Cowboy Bebop. One of my favorite characters ever.

To be honest I had no idea who Blum was until JEBesh started raving about him. They send the Japanese version (animes) with subs here or do a crappy Swedish dub (everything else). So the only place I could recognise him from beforehand was as "various voices" or "additional voices" in C&C generals and Kane's wrath. So... yeah.



Still, always nice with Oghren pics.

That is one very fine dwarf, and I'm so glad his accent isn't typical dwarf, it'll make him more memorable.  Also, falling down at the end was funny. :lol:
