We've seen too many statuettes, and they all become dust-gathering, valueless, curiousities in a few months (I'm still regretting several such purchases). Furthermore, the increased cost of statue-centric CEs has become a major hindrance. I'm of the opinion that if a CE is hugely more expensive due to one ultra item, like a statue, that there should be another deluxe or ultra edition that has everything but that one ridiculously cost-inflating item, and I would expect a large number of them to sell.

Art-books are nice, but books with a story from the world are better! That's something that doesn't lose its value in the same way. A really nice box/case is far better in the long run than a bulky statue.

Let me give some good/bad examples of Collector's editions from the past:

Fallout 3 (the lunchbox, not the clock)

 An artbook would be really cool,with maps,creature,and demon sketches.Character designs for both old and new characters alike,and possible new character designs ...I love statues and a High Dragon one would be awesome.Another statue idea I got rolling around in my noggin is The Warden,Hawke,and whoever the new guy is standing back to back ready for battle,or you can use Malcolm Cousland in place of the warden.Or if you don't want to do a statue you can do a ring or amulet that is identical to one of the pre-order bonuses that I know you guys are going to do.Once again thanks for the question Bioware...ONE LOVE:lol:

Artbook, artworks and soundtrack have to be content of a collector edition. That's actually standard.

But I think that might be pretty cool is a big Flag with the Warden emblem or if it really must the Hawk emblem. (Or whoever the main character will be.)

A large map of the main squares of Dragon Age 3 would be certainly cool too.

Important: No downloadable extra characters in the Collector´s Edition!

if this really say about a collector's edition say the same third part is the best things for him in my opinion this is the code in the actual size, a large painted book concept artov ever made, but the soundtrack and how something like a dragon figurine.

Dragon statue maybe, most definitely art book and above all. I want a poster, I need a gaming poster for my wall I'm happy if one or two of those happen.

If I had to pick one thing, it'd be a high quality art book which also included some insight  into the pictures, the artists, the lore, the vision etc.

But what really attracts me to CEs is the sum of the parts rather than a single premium item - I'd like a decent game manual, a nice map, a sound track etc. with care to the presentation - make it all an experience to open and own rather than 'standard edition + item'.

Besides the game's original soundtrack (which is a MUST!), I would really like a replica of the chalice used in the Joining ceremony.

Soundtracks, ingame items that can't be bought afterwards (like Isaacs armor now ), artbook and concept artbooks are awesome (bought those myself) I also would love a necklace/pendant or a small statue of a Dragon or one of the main protagonists (Hawke, Grey Warden, Morrigan , Flemeth)

Well, I buy CE only for bonus in-game content. I'm not a fan of replicas, t-shirts, maps and other trash, cuz' I don't need them. Maybe some new quests, weapons, DLC (yes, I think that 1st day DLC in ME3 was a good move).

  I would like to get something creative. In the pre-order the game Resident Evil 6 developers have stuffed the jacket of the protagonist. Biowar could for example put something like a sword. And would like to receive the art book, pictures of landscapes and dobavilii new DLS Mission. It would be nice:)

So many things that you can put in there. But personally i would have to say a replica of something unique to the Dragon Age universe. Warden's pendant? Replica of Hawke's staff/sword? Something darkspawn (maybe no to this one). Irl codex with yellowed pages and all?

A lithograph would also be nice. Frame it and put it in my living room.

Something that doesn't take up space. I'm a student with 1 bookcase to store things, my shelves are full

So, in order of preference: a poster, a necklace, or concept art.
