I'd love a collector's edition that included Flemeth's Grimoire :)

I would love to have a replica of a mage staff :) and if not, a figure. And not of the main character because I play female, and have no use of the male..

If your going to do a collectors edition you should do it in style. Picture this, the packaging should be a scale model of a wooden chest from the game with the classic bloodstain dragon painted on the lid, inside should be a few themed goodies from the game like: a pendent of the gray warden sigil, replicas of potion vials, a map of Thedas, a pen styled like a quil, some dlc codes made to look like a mage's notes, and finally the collectors edition game case should be made to look like a tome/book. i think something like this would be awesome because it would be like opening the travel chest of a character from the game

There are so many possibilities for a DA3 Collector's Edition, but I'll only mention the first things that came into my head: an art book (preferably more in the vein of a coffee-table book than what was provided with ME3's Collector's Edition), the game's soundtrack, a making-of disc (hopefully with some exclusive content about the creative process) and maybe even a small figure akin to the Malgus statue in the TOR CE.
Oh, and an assurance that it'll be made available in Australia.
Thank you for taking the time to read through all our messages and good luck with the game!

I'd like to see a Mabari War Hound statuette that can be your "playing companion" while you play some DA.

A poster could be good. Maybe even a collectible action figure of a fan favorite from the series. I also wouldn't be opposed to perhaps a free copy of the Ultimate Edition of Dragon Age: Origins with it.

Hmm good publicity stunt among the fans, may upset parents and most likely will result in angry lawsuits from people with missing body parts. But the sword is sooooo cool DO IT BIOWARE!!!

Also an ENCHANTMENT! shirt would be well ...

Soundtrack, Advanced content, Concept art. These have been done and would be good. But I wouldn't mind having something intriguing like A Medallion or pendant that has Lore value, Such as the wardens oath or something that has to do with the new character.

I'd definately like the soundtrack or concept art, but the idea of a pendant which is based on something in the new game would be cool. All three would be a winner. Throw in background short stories of the characters and I'm there!

Come to think of it you could do a ring with lore value. But if nothing else you could have a figurine of the blood dragon that shows up every time you start the game, Yeah a figure of that would be awesome and maybe even have the main character standing in the middle of it (controlling it or just standing in battle pose).

Soundtrack or a "war map" showing where the various forces/factions that you will encounter or hear about have control.

Not my idea, but i saw a comment on a news site that said: "
I'd like the game to come with a button. When you push that button, everyone involved in changing the design from DA1 to DA2 will receive an electric shock.

I'd buy that collector's edition!"

I would so much buy that too.

PS:Sorry if you got offended:whistle:

I like the idea of including the soundtrack, but as that is usually included in Digital Deluxe Editions and such, I think a model of a signature weapon would be awesome. (Though a full sized replica would probably be too much to ask...)

A well designed game Box/Case.
The original DA CE and ME2/3 CE boxes are reasonable examples. The SW:ToR box, is sadly not. It has material flaws. Had it been made of a solid plastic instead of pressed paper it would have been stellar.
To me, the ideal Collector's Edition has a well constructed case that you can keep all of it's contents in, shows artwork/design elements inspired by the game, and is made of a material that will last. COLLECTOR's Edition, not super huge bonus statue edition. (Statues can be nice but the case trumps all.)

I really like this idea! Or something along the lines of this.  I remember Assassins Creed: brotherhood had a collectors edition with a chest. Here's a link of what I mean: http://101arena.file...dex-edition.jpg

I think a chest would be expensive but if was of good quality I'd snatch it up.
Things I'd like to see in the chest would be (in order of importance imo):
  • dlc (I'm a sucker for extra armours, weapons, extra characters etc)
  • A cloth map of Thedas
  • Gray Warden pendant (or a similar replica)
  • A tome/book containing some stories about thedas. I'd love to read more dragon age lore.
While I do love to seeing the creative process via artwork and such I always find this stuff eventually on the net via your game websites or wikis.

Thanks for taking the time to read this,
-boodrl
