Or a replica of a weapon or jewelery important to the game
Also adding a bonus mission and a few bonus weapons/Armor would be cool
Adding other thinges are great, but a figurine or replica is essential to it beeing a good or less good Collector's Edition ^^,

To narrow it down, either a physical sort of codex, or a book on the Making of Dragon Age. Either one would be pretty impressive.

A Grey Warden USB pendant that lights up when plugged in and in use - like the dog tags USB from the Starcraft II Collectors edition.
Oh, cute!! <3
USB's representing each character!
Also, Character: incense, perfume, nail polish (haha!), e.g. stuff I would actually USE!!! Not goofy stuff.
EDIT: Also though of key chain and car magnet.

Firstly I want to thank Bioware for these opportunities to tell them our opinion, to have a chance to add something to the game. I love you, Bioware and I always will!
Regarding the question: I usually buy CEs because of Artbooks. The bigger the better! Most of all I like scetches (unfinished pencil drawings, sometimes with author comments). A really big cloth map would be great (with Orlais and Tevinter and Antiva etc.), because I have a lot of emty space on my wall
ALso something more practical is always good to have. Something like a cup (not just simple cup with DA art on it, but something special) or an ashtray, or a mouse pad... These kind of things that you use often and you would enjoy looking at them every day.

Developers routinely offer a high-end physical collectible in special editions of their games. This can range from a statue you might display on your shelf, a cloth map, or art book to name a few.
If you wanted to own a piece of Dragon Age history in a collector’s edition of a future hypothetical title, what item (or kind of item) would you most treasure?
We recognize that not everyone has dragon-like inclinations to hoard pieces of treasure, so if you’re not interested in collector’s pieces, there’s always next month’s question! Let us know what high-end physical item you would most like in a collector’s edition here!
PS: As a reminder, this thread will remain open until next Monday at 9:00AM PST. Be sure to participate before the thread is locked!
What I would like to see in a collector's edition is an extra DVD with:
- The original soundtrack
- A Making-Of Documentary (I always wanted to know how the whole process of making a BioWare game works. How do you get from an idea to a prototype and then eventually to the finished game? How does the work of the different departments come together?)
- Some great wallpapers
- Trailers
As a printed soft-cover book:
- An art-book (concept arts, character design and so on. I think it's nice to have a real book and not just the digital version.)
- Maybe a special item that fits with the story. For Dragon Age: Origin this could have been a real chalice to drink from. This is just a thought. I'm not sure if I would want the collector's edition more because of it. But a friend of mine bought recently a Monkey Island Special Edition, which had indeed a mug. I thought that it was a nice idea. However, I don't want to narrow this down to drinking vessels. Anything would be possible, but it would be aweseome if you could actually use it in real life, so the item isn't just a "dust catcher". So, a necklace would be cool, too.

You can watch the episodes hearing their thoughts of what happens on screen.
And it got me thinking. This is something that lots of films and tv series put on their dvds/blurays, but i never saw a game that did that.
I don't know if this is possible, but it would be cool if we could play the game listening Gader, Darrah, Laidlaw, Hepler and etc commenting on what happens on screen, what was their thoughts, what they wanted to pass to the gamer when we first see a new place or a character etc.
Maybe this could be only available after we finish the game, and when playing again, an icon would appear in the screen, and if we click on it, we could hear the commentaries.
Too much?

. This could be a mark in history for bioware if they did this so it is something to think about. It could be cool listening to what they were aiming for in the storyline. It can be a eye opener to how bioware thinks.DiegoRaphael wrote...
I was buying the Farscape bluray today, and i saw that it contained commentaries from the producers on it.

My first choice would be a statue of Morrigan. She's already played (and hopefully will continue to play) a pivotal role in Dragon Age and is such a great character. Of all the swag I received from winning your Child's Play Charity auction from a couple of years ago, my 2 favorite items are still the shield signed by the BioWare team and the Morrigan figurine. You can't go wrong with a statue, and Morrigan would be the best choice IMHO. My second choice would be Flemeth's Grimoire - - a book that contained DA lore and extra background details culled from the BioWare bibles you create internally. Whatever you choose, I just hope there's actually a full-fledged collector's edition available, as I was bummed about DAII getting shortchanged in that department.
Which Morrigan figure is that? Is this one?
