I'd like a beautyful statue of the archdemon, with a link to something like a dragon_boned helmet;

If possible a proper Art book, not talking about the smaller ones you usually see, they're great but they tend to be fairly light in detail and general 'ness' so something more like a Coffee table style book, could collect bits and pieces from the series so far and not just the current title if necessary...

Failing that Soundtracks are generally good.

Posters, maps, anything in general that can be used as a decoration in the room you play your games! Like the Darth Malgus Statue that i have from my Swtor collectors edition.

The pendant idea sounds good to me, and even better if the item played a prominent role in the next game. Beyond that a parchment-style paper map that was made to look authentic and weathered (for framing) would be awesome. And I "second" the unique weapon and armor that scales with the character idea; if the appearance of these could expand throughout the game.

Just read the retweet of Chris and here I am:D (thanks Chris)

What I would definitely buy is an awesome encyclopedia of some sort. With references to characters, environments, weapons from previous Dragon Age games with beautiful art!

I don't know about it being high end, but my favourite thing to collect is action figures! Like the ones of Morrigan, Duncan, and the genlock. Those were just incredible plus affordable to someone like me. Whenever I end up picking up something game related, it's usually an action figure (or else a shirt, that's about it)

Have it all.. artworks, wallpapers, maps, soundtracks, game guide, downloadable free in-game items and an action figure for the main character would be enough to complete the collector's edition..

a helmet.
a faqing huge helmet with horns, wings and stars. it should be made of gold AND silver.
this helmet is the greatest helmet ever existed. kingdoms have fallen and mountains have broken for its possession. fallen angels cry in its presence and banshees have multiple orgasms just by the mention of its name.
this helmet is the most serious bussiness in the universe of Dragon Age. everyone wants it but no one can keep it. you do not mess with the helmet if you like being alive. you shut the faq up and you do what it tells you. the helmet commands and the helmet demands and the helmet GETS OR ELSE. if you don't like this, GTFO, run for dear life and hope it did not see you.
the name of the helmet is The Great King. nothing more, nothing less.

Physical merch is always welcome. I dig figurines, mini-replicas, CDs, posters, etc.

I really like Maps - for the reason that i can use them when im playing but also if i think about somhing when im not playing and want to check the location or somthing

The jewllery options is nice but the quality should watch so you dont have somthing that goes bronze or give you green marks when you wear it

Im not much for statues and knick-nacks myself - it just clutters up and gets lost

I would actually love a physical copy of the soundtrack. Music plays a big part of the experience for me, and I love Inon Zur's music (I don't know if he's doing the work for future Dragon Age titles, but I sure hope so!)

And I know this is more out of left field, but...I'd love to recieve some sort of item that would in fact exist in-universe. Can't provide examples for a game which I don't know the details of course, but to use DA2 as examples it would be something like a parchment copy of Anders' manifesto. Or the Warden's Promise pendant. Or a pamphlet full of Genitivi's research. I'm leaning towards liking the idea of something written, something that could add flavour without providing lore that disadvantages anyone who doesn't have the CE. This is mainly because I find that with replicas of items such as jewellery etc it's really easy for something small, like the chain they get strung on (or having leatherbound items bound in pleather) to undermine the authenticity of the whole thing. And I really like the idea of holding something that seems like it belongs in Thedas itself, rather than a piece of merchandise.

(EDIT: I've seen below people requesting actual copies of the Chant of Light, or a leatherbound collection of the codex entries. To this I say: YES YES YES this is exactly the kind of thing I would move heaven and earth to own.)

Or an big artbook. That would be lovely too :P

Some things that would be a draw for me:

1) Artwork. Things like fold-out maps or concept artwork for characters. I also loved how the ME3 Collector's Edition cover had interchangeable artwork for fem and bro Shepard. Something like that would be nice.

2) In-game bonuses like a special armor set or weapon or something similar are also awesome.

3) Digital soundtrack included or a "making of/behind the scenes" feature would also be cool.

Ever since the days of the original (pre-MMO) Ultima games, I've loved cloth maps and small artifacts like amulets or coins. Blizzard's collector's editions are always great for the high quality books of concept art, and soundtracks are great to have, too. A small, non-combat related exclusive (so I could keep on using it, no matter what my level) would also be fun.

I want stuff I could use over and over... like books!. The collectors edition of the official game guide would be a great extra to have. The Silent Grove comic would be also be cool.

A copy of Dawn of the Seeker would be appealing too... add in some exclusive must-have DLC, and that's a collector's edition I would buy!

Concept art/books are cool but not when a collectors edition costs $150. If a collectors edition exceeds $80, it had better have something good other than art. I'd like a blood dragon piece of armor like a helmet or a blood dragon statue at least 8" tall, a long with other small goodies, like patches(with velcro like N7 ME3), stickers of logos etc.... something highly detailed and worthy of that $20~$90 extra I have to pay to have a nice addition to my collection of bioware titles.
I would love DLC that is exclusive only to owners of collectors editions, not exclusive until they make it available to the world via xbox live, PSN store for monies. I like being acknowledged for being a collectors edition owner and it being specific only to owners.

I'd love a figure of any of the characters or even a bad guy, but my favorite I'd really love to collect is Fenris. Maybe even a chibi figure set would be nice.

A lot of good ideas were already listed (pendants, statues, soundtracks, etc.) Personally, I would like a scaled version of a main weapon. I actually purchased the Grey Warden Sword letter opener (DA) and a (scaled) replica of Hawk's Staff from DAII. (Not to mention the DAII all-metal coasters - all items were purchased from Epic Weapons and are licensed from BioWare.)

Id really like a Statue of the "Iconic" Grey Warden from the Origins CGI Trailer's... With Helmet on, ofcourse...

Or a Statue of Flemeth Mid-transformation to her High-Dragon form...that'd look kool...

Beyond that...
How about the Pendents, Rings and Belts? You've made lots of unique items as part of pre-order or community objectives, why not make those items...then put them in a little locked treasure chest in the CE, and hide the key somewhere...like behind the Manual in the game case ^_^
