Hey Folks,

This is a fairly common question being asked on the forums, but I would like to add to it.

Although you consider it your most effective build / weapon combination, is it also the one you are most entertained with?

I know, for myself, I have builds and combos that are effective for my style of play but, when I am trying to play for fun, I will often have other builds and combinations that I enjoy more for pure entertainment value (you know, teh lolz, as it were).  After all who doesn't enjoy tossing enemies around with the Krogan heavy melee once in a while, or yelling "Yoink!" every time you use lash on a Cerberus trooper (OK, maybe that last one is just me)?

Most effective: Male Quarian Infiltrator with Reegar
Cloak specced for damage
Arc grenade specced for damage, additional damage to armor
Tactical scan specced for additional weapon damage

Demolishes everything.

See a spwan point on gold? Throw your grenades in there, watch everything die.

Big enemy?

Cloak and Reegar, two or three bursts and the thing is gone within seconds!


Not much fun to play with since it makes gold ridiculously easy.

Geth infiltrator outshines other classes, but I'm bored of playing it. My current favourite is Drell adept (6/3/6/5/6) with my Scorpion III - I just love blowing stuff up as a biotic ninja.

Geth infilly with Krysae.

It is not my favorite combo but if i wanted to get through gold with the least amount of effort this would be my choice.

The GI Claymore build is the most effective for me. It's just sooo brutal.

I enjoy a melee-heavy vorcha soldier while skipping carnage and roaming with a Harrier and Reegar. It's fast, vicious fun; at least on silver (going melee on gold can be... troublesome).

My two most effective are probably the Male Quarian Infiltrator with a Claymore and my Geth Infiltrator with the same load out. Arc grenades are a blast, and when I'm playing the geth I simply substitute them with my heavy melee.

But my most enjoyable and effective class overall is the Drell Adept. He's so fast, so powerful, and Cluster Grenades are by far my favorite power in the game since they syngerize so well with Reave. I also use a Paladin.

I like my Justicar build.

My Tempest is only lvl 4 but I am slowly leveling it up. I love spamming Reave on clusters of enemies (especially at spawn points in the beginning of each wave) and protect teammates during hacking objectives.

Current gear is Shield Booster II but I'd like the Expert package if I had it

EDIT : it's the class I consider the most effective for me on some maps and definitely the one I have th emost fun playing with.

 My two favorite classes (at least this week) are Crusader BSoldier and Geth Shotty Kroguard. I might not get top score, and the latter does have the associated glitches, but I really do have fun with them.And I predict that I'd have a lot of fun using characters with Lash...if I had one...

Geth Infiltrator with Claymore and MQI with Krysae.

I don't find them much fun to play as though. I only ever really go Infiltrator if I think the squad needs one (and doesn't already).

My favourites are Defence Specced Justicar, Cerberus Adept, both Turians... I also currently quite enjoy the Human Soldier and MQE. This may be a phase.

I switch classes every time I promote and I play them all with the exception of the vanguard (the glitch happens too often for me and I prefer not to host).

The Geth Infiltrator is my go-to class - when I get bored with one weapon loadout I switch it up (BW, Claymore, Wraith, and now Harrier).

I like to make things harder by playing a class that can take a lot of hits (vorcha) and then switching to a GI or GE when I've gotten used to being able to absorb damage.

My 'nade 'n blade Batarian soldier is easily my most efficient class for killing things, but my favorite latey has got to be the Phoenix Vanguard. The only Vanguard Ive really enjoyed.

Of course not.  You keep nerfing the fun classes and leave the best class untouched.  Nothing tops an infiltrator. Best DPS and objective capper in the game.  Infiltrator has become amazingly boring.  Sure I love playing as a MQI, but it would be nice to be able to wreck face with a Soldier in the same way.  Or an Engineer.  

Nerf tac cloak and buff the other classes.

i really like the phoenix vanguard after the buff. melting enemies with a geth used to be entertaining, but it's getting kinda old now. krogans are fun...but i always end up fighting geth when i do random with a krogan....the stunlock ooooo the stunlock.

i have fun with any class. i just hate the feeling of being handicapped when i dont play infiltrators.

Drell Adept, Carnifex.  Built for fast ability recovery time and reave/grenade explosions (Put more grenades in the boxes at higher levels please.)

Turian Soldier with a Talon specced correctly can headshot across the map.

Vorcha with a Reager and flamer is very deadly, especially when the two are combined.

The most dominant set-up IMO is the Geth Infiltrator with the Krysae, it clears spawns.

I find all three above classes very fun and very effective. However, my favorite class is the Human Infiltrator with a Black Widow and a Hurricane.

i didnt realize they nerfed anything??? except the geth really. tech armor and phoenix got big ol fatty buffs

MQE with a Falcon X.

Could play it all day and never get bored, plus it does rather well.

Probably a glass cannon asari stasis (bubble) adept,
with a Paladin VI or higher (197% cooldown), using
armor III for cooldown reduction, plus a gear mod
for 5% plus cooldown reduction. Warp ammo. Against
Cerberus. It's just like being back in beta! Works extremely
well with lots of infiltrators or other shooters, and just about
as well with an explosion group.

Much less effective for the other factions. Close second
is a female quarian infiltrator using the 8.5 sniper/8.5 tech
damage with backfire.
