Is it posibile? I played a full game as a dwarf noble but never found a way to become king.

You are aware this is the no spoilers section of the forums right?

No, you cannot become King. You can however become a Paragon (which is far better).

If you side with Harrowmont, you're expected to take the throne after he dies. But that's not going to happen in the game.

How do you become a paragon, is it part of the drawf noble storyline or is it both noble & commoner?

Paragons are living the dead ones are ancestors.  You don't need to self sacrifice to be a paragon as my noble never did and still got the paragon ending.

Paragons are all dead, except Branka. Ancestors are the oldest of dwarven spirits. Paragons change dwarven society in some big way and are always considered paragons even after they die.

Makes absolutely no sense. After playing through Orzammar and the dwarf noble starting story I have decided it makes no sense. You are second in line for the throne and when the king dies your basically a cast away.

You can discuss spoilers here, they just can't be involved in the title. It says "Spoiler warning" just for those peopel who are visiting the forum, and don't want anything spoiled. It would say "No Spoilers Allowed" if you weren't allowed to discuss any.

Well, you =do= become a Grey Warden, and technically they're supposed to stay out of all politics and abandon their previous lives and stuff, with Alistair (and I guess a Fem!Cousland with a high coercian..) being the exceptions, but in Alistair's case at least, he's the only guy with a legitamite blood claim to the throne, wheras with the dwarves you at least still have Bhelan, as well as Harrowmont. So they're good for heirs. XD

I'm curious to see if the human noble king/queen ending actually ends up biting the couple in the rear precisely because of the whole "Grey Wardens don't get involved in politics" angle.

Possibly more importantly, as the Noble you leave in disgrace, and by the time you become a Paragon the succession has already been decided. It's possible Harrowmont would have put the Dwarf Noble forward if he felt he could, but that he thought he had a better chance of keeping Bhelon out himself with the Noble's support than vice versa with that cloud hanging over the Noble.
Note that I say this without having played Dwarf Noble past the origin, so there may be something I'm missing in the nature of the Noble's return to Orzammar - but my money would be on the Noble being regarded as a surfacer at best and thus not eligible for the throne. Until the achievement of Paragon status cleaned the slate.

Everyone knows anyway the Bhelen is the better choice. Harrowmount is the old republican, Bhelen wants change and the dwarves to leave orzammar.

And yeah, I wish there were even just better dialog choices for when you play dwarf noble. Going back there, regardless of being a warden and abandoning all ties still has to be hard.

I just did the dwarf noble origin not too long ago and at the very end when your sent to the deep roads, Harrowmont gives you a speech about how your name has been stripped from the shaperate and you are nobody, which I think would technically make you casteless no?
