By a few people, which is unfortunate. 

But 'pro-enders' are hardly the persecuted minority some people who might fall under that woefully generalistic label like to portray themselves as.

I'll take your word for it. I admit I'm rarely here. It's just the impression I got. And some posts in this thread actually confirmed this impression.

My simple response to the OP's question: Denial

I'd say those who defend the endings have as much right to do so as those who constantly repeat how bad it is. But your answer pretty much shows that you dont't accept any other opinion than: "It just sucks so much"
Maybe some think ME3 isn't as bad as others say.
I don't feel the need to defend anything, but I must admit that I'm getting tired of the "Give us what we want" - attitude.

I've never demanded a single thing that I "wanted".....


So maybe not the time to assume.....I've assumed nothing about you....don't be so rude...


Yes, while Mass Effect was one of my favorite series, I take an unbiased approach to every form of media....and from a neutral standpoint, the ending as well as the concept for it, is downright ridiculous. Starchild, the plotholes.....Joker the p****......I've never seen a more anti-climactic ending to any other trilogy ever....

So, no....it isn't that ME3s ending isn't very good......its that the is a monumental failure of epic proportions

No need to apologize. I wasn't offended. I was just defusing a situation before it occurred, while also expressing how I see things.....I don't like getting into wars of words because everything gets taken out of context and crazy things get said, and nobody knows what's going on or what the other means.....yeah, no good ever comes from it.

Like, do I understand how you could like the ending or how it makes sense to you?

In all honesty, I can't think of one logical explaination

But I'm not going to bash you for how you feel about it.....

Though I do on occasion, bash the ending itself....

I'm pretty much the same way and admittedly almost laugh whenever I hear people I know say things like that

Well, as long as they don't do anything unethical, and they respect my opinion, i will respect those persons who like the ending.

That doesn't mean that i won't defend the creation of a happy ending. I will defend the addition of a happy ending every time i can (Those who want a pessimistic ending can take it, but i won't accept that for me)

And no, i am not a Bioware fan (not any more), i just want to defend an amazing universe and it's characters, from an unnecessary and ridiculously dark fate.
