This is a classic case of ''I am a moron and can't read, so I post stupid replies''. I can do fine with the turian. It is however crap compared to most other classes and doesn't have much going for it, and could need some tweaks.

 I know how to read, I did it, still a "I don't know how to play this class" thread.

 I don't think it's crap, it's different. It's harder to make the same impact as other classes, you will take more time to find a way to make it effective, but that's the point of a variety of classes, they must be different. Some will be easier to learn, others will be harder. My opinion is that there's enough people doing good job with it to say that the class is good enough. 

 I only agree that more shield wouldn't hurt anyone and would compensate the lack of roll (a characteristic of the race), but still, the class is fine as it is.

full marksman with the harrier. have you tried it. Took the damage and AP mods with Inc rounds 3 and tood down a brute in less the 2 seconds. i was mowing them down on gold

Marksman with an eviserator/talon/wraith/graal or tempest/hornet/gpsmg/hurricane or carnifex/phalanx/scorpion or indra/raptor/incisor/valiant/BW/ or Phaeston/GPR/Revenant/Saber.

Most of those are damn good in gold with him. Others you may have to use steroids on, but any of them will allow you to kill enemies on par with anyone else excepting maybe claymore infils.

Idea to fix soldiers - add shield gate effect to every single bar of shield and health. Then quit the game.

Hmm lol my turian with indra and proxy mine is prety awsome ... I was 10 k under all others players and after 2 rounds I was on top of the jungle with 20k +...but I would be glad if they just buffed range of proxy

With all the buffs that Adrenaline Rush has received, I don't think anything can make the human Soldier obsolete at this point.


i can see where you are coming from. let me rephrase; if the Turians had more mobility, i would start to stray away from human characters even more than i already do.

I go with a 0/6/6/6/6 build with the Turian Soldier and it works fine without Marksman. Alot of people dont put concussive shot on the TS but I do, its good when you are surrounded and it knocks people back allowing for a quick and narrow escape, as does proximity mine, but concussive shot as a faster recharge time

I would rather use 2 powers than have a power where the only thing you can do is shoot for like 5 seconds...


+1 for using a Hurricane TS w/out marksman.  Right now I have a 6/0/6/6/6 build, but I should probably respec to get rid of marksman and go with CS, because I rarely us MM. I don't really see the need except against bosses...for rank and file, proxy mines plus the Hurricane's regular ROF is plenty fast.  

Using the Hurricane (w/extended clip & heatsink) gives me enough fire power with the bonus of a quick cooldown time 
on proxy mines. This combo lets me regularly top the scoreboard by a decent margin, and I am honestly a very mediocore MP player (w/most other classes, I'm often last on the board).  I guess most players have a class that suits their play style the best, and for me it's definitely TS. 

All of which is to say that one person's pile of fail is another person's pile of win

If you damage with a harrier, independent of class is mediocre i got bad news


One 36 round magazine from a Harrier IV with rail amp 3, AR AMP 5 gear, and level 2 warp ammo (was out of level 3 ammo) doesnt even kill a gold brute, leaves it with like 3 bars of armor.

Now compare this to a claymore or GPS soldier..... Harrier/talon/saber/hurrican + marksman is great against stuff that takes headshot damage.

Against the units that are actually hard to kill, not so much. It mows down normal units sure, but what class doesn't?


I can tell you your first mistake right there...go with the high caliber barrel V and piercing mod V. Will make a huge difference. You don't need the extra clip capacity.
