I'm going to the Under-Dark very soon. Aerie wouldn't abandon us in the Under-Dark, would she? :|

I heard if you go under-ground for too long she will end the romance.

If I remember right, merely being in the Underdark doesn't infuence romances in any way, but love talks are put on hold until you get back to the surface. However, at some point you will be given a certain proposal from one of the drow priestesses. If you accept, Aerie will end the romance. I don't want to describe it in detail to avoid possible spoilers, but you will recognize it easily, believe me.

You also need to play your cards right if you have Korgan or Jaheira in your party.

It is more interesting if they are!!!

I never have Haer'Dalis in my party.
Incidently, I've ran into another bug. I couldn't find the key in the sewers of the Temple District anywhere.

The key to what? The area where Haer'Dalis is, doesn't need a key.

Are you talking about the key to the area where the liches are? That's found in Firkraag's dungeon - I think on Tasok's body from memory, though I might be wrong.

It is well hidded however.

I think that Grond0 is correct about the other key.

The old tunnels and Mekrath's lab are unlocked, although the lab does have a hidden door, I've never had a problem detecting it though.

Once in the old tunnels, you get the key to the lich area from Gaal as part of the unseeing eye quest.

The key to the mind flayer area is found in the windspear hills dungeon, in the temple to the far right, T3 on the map:

Have you talked to Raelis in Five Flagons and got the quest to rescue Haer'Dalis? I believe the door to Mekrath's lab only unlock when you have this quest active.

There are two initially hidden passeways in the sewers - you sure you are at the right door? Mekrath's doesn't require a key (at least, not in vanilla), but the other one with the illithids does.

If you entered the sewer from the temple district, then go left - the first hidden door is the illithids - keep going left, past the center passageway, and just before you see Keldorn you will then find entrance to Mekrath's lair, which should be unlocked.

Are you talking about the battle with the Duergar who demands money? That one?

You are talking about Tarnor the Hatchetman - his group is between the two doors in question, in fact. Keldorn is just beyond Mekrath's secret entrance.
