ME1.

The other two are OK, but tend to be rather generic.

There are loads of good tracks.

But my favorites are ME2: Suicide Mission. Never listened to such epicness and I listened to all of TSFH.
ME3 also has plenty of good tracks but most of them come in combination with the ending so thats a big contra to them. So Id say ME3s best track is "Future for the Krogan"

ME1 had one or two good tracks but tended to be pretty lame at times. It could never compede with the others when it comes to Epicness and feelings created by music. I'd say best of ME1 is "Spectre Introduction"

In ME1 & 2 all tracks are cool.
In ME3, well, only Clint Mansell and Sam Hulick did a good job.

I would agree with this. Love Mansell/Hulick's tracks, not fussed about the others.

ME3 had the most well-rounded soundtrack and the best soft, emotional moments.

ME2 had the soundtrack that makes you feel like taking on the world. Great action sequences, but little variation.

ME1 was the best sci-fi offering. Half of it sounded straight out of Bladerunner.

All up to what your tastes are, or what your mood is.

Love all the electronic tracks in ME1 and ME3 and I cannot choose one of the them. My favorites are the main theme, galaxy map, vigil, mars theme, the fleet arrives, clint tracks, etc.The soundrack of ME2 was boring except for arrival which was awesome. Sam Hulick is the man when it comes to ME soundracks, me thinks.

One thing you can't fault them with on Mass Effect 3 is the soundtrack, really a step up from ME2. Not that ME2 is bad, "Suicide Mission" is probably my favorite song in all 3 games, but it was a little flat compared to ME1 otherwise.

ME1. I like playing the Noveria music in the car while driving to work in the winter. It helped me get ready for the day ahead.

I like this.

For me, all of the them are good but ME1 squeaks out as the winner.  Dat FAUNTS.

Really? So you two are not fussed about 'A future for the krogan', or the main menu theme? Youre not fussed about the Rannoch, Sur Kesh, and Palaven tracks?

I liked soundtrack from ME1 and ME2..The most favourite it's Sucide Mission soundtrack from ME2 with The Normandy Reborn and ME1 end song- M4 part 2 . To be honest don't like too much any ME3 song....Just playing game with Battle LA soundtrack mixed with Two Steps From Hell and Sabaton instead

Anyone that calls the ME3 soundtrack weak needs their ears cleaned out. It's easily the best soundtrack without question.

ME games rise the bar for soundtracks so far, its not even funny. My vote would have to go to ME 2 for 2 reasons, Suicide Mission and The Normandy Reborn.

As I mentioned in another thread, I have the following 'problem'...

I listen to a track be it an ME, ME2 or ME3 soundtrack and I say to myself...
oh! this song is awesome, the next song comes on and I think exactly the same thing.

IMHO the whole series has an awesome soundtrack.

Soundtrack order goes ME1 > ME2 > ME3.

Favorite track from 1: Uplink

Favorite track from 2: The Long Walk (from the Combat Score, also the best single track of the entire series)

Favorite track from 3: Rannoch

My pick is ME3 based on how its more Symphony and Orchestral based, which it mixed pretty well with the digital.

Tough one. I really like them all, but overall I think ME3 had the most well done soundtrack in terms of setting the mood.

Favorite tracks for me: Suicide Mission (duh), Normandy Reborn, Leaving Earth, citadel music from ME1, Overlord combat theme

They're all good but Mass Effect 3 had the best soundtrack of the series by far, IMO. If I were to list my top 10 favorite tracks from the series at least half would come from Mass Effect 3.

If we're regarding particular tracks, Suicide Mission - Any other answer is wrong.

Just out of curiosity, anyone know just who is the person most responsible for composing the piece? I know it was indubitably a group effort between the composers, but somehow I'd like to know who it was, and then in the future, stalk them, go up to them, and then say, "I really enjoyed Suicide MIssion - Here's my token of thanks!" And then either hand them something valuable or service them sexually somehow. Or via proxy with a hot svedisch model or somesuch or equivalent.

Let's not forget the DLC!

Some of the DLC had original tracks that were just as awesome as the soundtrack for the main games.

Exhibit A: Seriously Epic

Exhibit B: Best Battle Theme of the Series

I'd probably have to go with ME 2 because the stuff that plays during the SM is just epic. Also Overlord, LoTSB, and Arrival had some seriously epic soundtracks. All three games have some great stuff though.
