Never played ME1 because I have a PS3. In the Interactive comic, I killed Kaiden and let Ashley and Wrex live. I soon found out that letting Ash live was a huge mistake because I cheated on her with Miranda. Now in my current ME2/ME3 playthroughs Im keeping Kaiden and Wrex alive. Also I don't think Kaiden, Jacob, or James are boring. Got a problem? COME AT ME BRO!!

And just to be clear, my Femshep only has eyes for Garrus and Liara, while my Male Shep only goes for Tali, Miranda, and Liara.

Ashley is an annoying whiny brat and Kaidan is timid and confused. Slightly paranoid as well. But at the very least he is nice and not a b*tch like Ash is. Thus I didn't save Ash more than once. Because I hoped she would change in later games. Nope... she got worse if anything.

Anyone who believes Ashley is a racist is too stupid to have a proper argument with. Plus that is like so 5 years ago.

She's not only a racist. She's also a hypocrite. She hates Shepard for being part of a pro-human group despite being pro-human herself.

And yea you're right. Instead of just not trusting aliens, she doesn't even trust Shepard anymore. She goes from being a racist to being completely insane.

More reasons to kill her off.

so maybe she has a reason why she distrust other aliens?
what about Krogans or Turians or Salarians?
The First Contact Wars
The Rachni Wars
The Krogan Rebellions. There's reasons why another race distrust each other. Why you think TIM started Cerberus?

I'll shamelessly say it was because I wanted to preserve Ash as a potential future love interest. I also felt a more interesting storyline would follow her, since she was involved in the original me3 love triangle with my male shep. Lastly I liked her poetry more than kaiden sounding like whiny Carth Onasi.

I'm mostly a Paragon and I need a good Lancer...
A character foil for my hero...
Kaidan is too similar...

If I were a predominant Renegade, Kaidan would be an excellent contrast...

It's so true, I play pure paragon but I felt like killing her was the right thing to do, she's too evil and dangerous to be left alive and killing her myself was just more satisfying.

By your logic TIM and Ashley should be freaking pals.

That's my point. She's a hypocrite.

You fit the description of the typical Ash hater. And the typical Ash hater usually isn't too bright and gets cutdown rather quickly by more intelligent people, whether they're Ash fans or not.

Only reason you and so many others continue, is because you choose to ignore it.

No, they like to believe she is though. Just like how I believe Liara is a stalker.

Which I don't.

Well my Shep hates Batarians with a goddamn passion... so I side with Ash somewhat. I have no hate for blue or bird-like aliens tho, so I disagree with her there. Furthermore, every time Kaiden opened his mouth all I heard was "I'm Carth. I can't trust you or anyone! Ever again!" So Ash is much preferable to that.

I also second RohanSpartan's comment about not enough Miri. Never enough Miri. Should have been a squadmate or at least you should have picked her up on the Citadel before you assault TIM's base.

and so is Wrex and Wreav and all other Krogans that oppose Wrex for that matter
So is all humans against Cerberus ie. Admrial Hackett, Anderson and the entire Allaince
so is Tali and the Flotillia

I'm just saying Ashley isn't the only one. There's reasons.
IMO- ME3 Ashley was crap. ME1 I liked Ashley and ME2 I understood why she didn't trust Shepard. Bioware didn't do a good job of her in ME3......and IMO Bioware didn't do a good job ME3 character development at all

ME3 had a serious lack of Miranda. Odd because Miranda was fan service in ME2 that actually worked. Mainly because she had good character, was important to the plot, had a talented and loved voice actress, and was very attractive. But in ME3, they replaced her with Jessica Chobat as fan service.

And we know how well that went. There's not one person i know who liked Diana Allers.

You'd think given ME3's whole plot with Cerberus, it would've been obvious that Miranda would play a huge role. But she didn't...

Shepard rounded up a bunch of random aliens he met five minutes ago at a bus stop and let them on a top secret highly classified warship. Sure the C-Sec guy is probably legit, but then there's a gun for hire, a tourist, and Benezia's daughter...

Even though everything works out, at least one character should be questioning this...

The Council proves itself to be more interested in protecting their own races than others. Ashley just ends up being right on that one...

And Shepard is a Cerberus zombie. Ashley is justified to be suspicious of him...

She is contentious, fiery, opinionated and a little paranoid...
The perfect Lancer...

Plus, this scene trumps anything Kaidan does...

Click - Ashley gets plastered

yeah dude. This was my expectation. In fact Miranda wasn't even needed in ME3 just like Samara, or Jack. Ashley or Kaiden weren't needed.

that's how bad the character development and story was of ME3. I can't describe how perfect Bioware's failure was on this game

I absolutely agree with that, and I think a lot of that has to do with Drew's absence during the writing of the game. I thought her romance plot in ME3 was one of the best, but her actual character development in ME3 was very lazy and poorly written.

I'd argue that a lot of that probably had something to do with Mac giving his Blueberry Waifu way too much attention, but I digress.

As big of an Ash fan as I am, i agree with that. Ashley and Kaiden were not needed, and Miranda should've filled that role instead.
