With some of the choices Shepard can make, espically a heartless Renegade, the choice would fit right in. And thats the point, choice.

A game that let you chose to be a Space Adolf is like a game where you can commit rape. It is morally unacceptable. Everything the ME3 heartless renegade Shepard does, he does it to achieve survival at any cost, but he doesn't hate aliens and he doesn't enslave/kill innocent people. Killing Mordin and Wrex is despicable, but they are war casualties not innocent victims.

Even the Control/Synthesis options, as well as killing the Geth to achieve Destruction of the Reapers, are in a morally grey area that never touches Ceberus' downright evil ways.

Ahem, Synthesis = Galaxywide rape.

I'm not a Synthesis supporter (not anymore at least), but unless they'll show me the Crucible sending the ghost of Shepard to physically violate each and every living being of the Galaxy I will reject that "sarcastic" definition of Synthesis.

Wow I leave and all the Cerberus haters come out of the wood work.

@dreman9999
Dude if you chose synthesis or if anyone chose synthesis kiss that individuality goodbye. Furthermore people don't really lose their personality when joining cerberus...I dont hear Reapers or husks yelling at you coherently in battle.

@joanta
Some people might not find what Cerberus did to be so terribly "evil" as you. Sanctuary is a facility where TIM in creating more troops that go out to fight for humanities future. If you find his methods too evil..oh well..its victory no matter the cost, or using your own words its "survival at any cost" Also I need to point out that In ME1 and ME2 you could be Pro human as much as you wanted. However those Pro human options disappear in ME3, a game based on choice would have been nice. You find what Cerberus has done Offensive, and to join them would be character assassination for your Shep. Well for mine, it was a match made in heaven. two different sheps, two different stories. Would have made a great game.

Shepard: I'll never join you!

TIM: If you only knew the power of the Reapers. Anderson never told you what happened to your father.

Shepard: He told me enough! He told me you killed him!

TIM: No. I am your father.

Shepard: No...no. That's not true. That's impossible!

TIM: Search your feelings, you know it to be true!

[Shepard cries in anguish]

Shepard: No! Nooooooooooo!

TIM: Shepard, you can destroy the Reapers. I have foreseen this. It is your destiny! Join me, and together, we can rule the galaxy as father and son! Come with me. It is the only way.

My Paragon Femshep would have taken the First Chance she got to Join Cerberus. But I waited the whole Game to Switch back to TIM's side even when there was enough evidence that it would Never Happen.

All Pro Cerberus people were holding out for a KOTOR moment at the very least.

Ever played the witcher 2?

And because Witcher 2 has made it, every game henceforth must make it?

No i just wanted to know if he/she already played TW2.
Because he/she acted as if it is impossible to make a game with almost "2 main stories".

It just hit me who Cerberus make me think of. Very similar characteristics to the Enclave of the Fallout Universe.

Cerberus in ME3 did feel a lot like F3's enclave.
Imo both the enclave in F3 and cerberus in ME3 were one dimensional enemies. What a shame.

Kai Leng = bad ripoff of Adam Jensen, endings = extremely bad ripoff of Deus Ex, and now this??
Did Bioware try to merge every good sci-fi game into one or something??:?

Uhm. Terror O.O?

I remember your fanfiction in which YOU made TIM even worse than BW made him in ME3...
Since when are YOU a Cerberus fan?

But to come to the topic I also sympathized with TIM and Cerberus.
-He has wisdom, he has power, he has money
-Cerberus has the best Tech, the coolest troops (comics), the most professional soldiers/officers, the most advanced Fighters and Frigates/Dreadnaughts
-TIM is the only one who acted on the Collectors
-He was made sympathic throughout the books
-The books actual here form my pov: Kai Leng was my favorite character until BW ruined him
-I wished I could have joined forces with them, recruit Kai Leng and work with TIM.

Imagine what we could have achieved TOGETHER: The Reapers would have been history.

So BW why did you waste  these potenciasl!Image IPB At least the possibility to join up with them or the possibility to recruit Leng (not Ninja Batman Leng but books Leng) should have been there.

Besides, Im also a Xeno Lover XD Tali FTW

Besides female Qurarians are HOT

........I see...*speaks into radio* We have a xeno lover at sector 13...good *turns off radio* dont worry troops are enroute....We will help you.

Just because he is an xeno lover, it doesn't mean he is useless. Snake, we need good PR to gain other useful humans to our side.

Also Snake, I know the files are good due to TIM allowed me to bug him inorder for me to get into the good graces of the old Shadow Broker. The Yagh was intelligent but bit of a ****** if you know what i mean. So I was well paided by both him and TIM. TIM is a lot of things, one thing TIM is reliable. Don't worry about the Asari, I will keep her nice to us if I can.

Very good points DeathScepter... I just get a little crazy when the xeno lovers come out..however I am sure we can convince him of the error of his ways and when we do this we can then turn him around and drag his xeno lover friends to us so we can help them.

Keep the asari running in circles. The second we get the chance your going to inherit the mantle of the shadow broker.

yeah because illusive totally wasnt indoctrinated, maybe they didn't give us the option to say no cause some of you people would've chose to side with TIM and the reapers would win

Joining Cerberus is just about as likely as me choosing synthesis

In all seriousness TIM only became indoctrinated after the Cerberus hq mission and before Mission Earth.
Before that he was the same old TIM. Before I get yelled at that he was always Indoctrinated I point to the Reaper death squads sent to Sancutary. Reapers do not send Death squads against indoctrinated people. That would be like Sovirgin sending Reaper death squads against saeren and his army of geth.

yeah i get that, and i feel that he was always fighting it. it wasn't until he implanted himself that he was indoctrinated.because the reapers were then able to gain control over him more easily.  But i do feel that he was doing what the reapers wanted. I liked Cerberus in me2 but they just went down a darker path in 3, liked it better when they were about destroying the reapers rather then controlling

I hear what your saying. But enslaving them is really destroying them as well. I also find it hard to beleive that TIM did not have a back up plan to take down the Reapers if enslaving them failed. This man threw such a wide net to try and gain leverage I find it impossible he dident have some sort of fail safe set up.

People should cut poor TIMmy some slack.

Who wouldn´t want to become indoctrinated too, when they encounter this in their mail:

Oh no, I found it while I was hacking TIMmy´s computer.. He had some interesting Asari/Hanar porn vids on it.
Think I might use them in my work for PETA (People for the Erotic Treatment of Asari).
