I will probably watch.. If it's glorious, I'll download it. If it's "meh", then I will stick to X-Wing Alliance for my Scifi fix (did you know you could convert the missions from TIE Fighter to XWA? I just learned it! YAY TIE Fighter with XWA-upgrade graphics!)
and to Batman Arkham Asylum and City for my good storytelling fix!

I'll look at the vids first and then decide if I want it. To be totally honest, I've completed the game twice now and I just ignore the ending and enjoy the gameplay, which is excellent IMO. To that end, the EC isn't a priority so I'll sit on the fence for a while and see.

Depends on how it's introduced. If I'll have to replay the whole getting to Cerberus Base thing, I'll probably pass on that. I played the MP just to get 100% readiness for the ending, and now it's back at 50%. I ain't playing that crap again just for a few extra cutscenes.

It kind of depends on where it starts. If it's truly just cutscenes at the end, I'll take my existing save that's in London somewhere and play through the end with that.

If it changes some things beforehand, I may play through one more time.

Either way, if it's good enough to salvage the absolute, utter WRECK that is the ME3 ending (You know your ending sucked when other game developers are mocking your ending.) then I may play ME3 (and 1 and 2) some more. And if it doesn't, which is a high possibility, since Dear God Artistic Integrity! Our Vision! Yadda Yadda, then I'll free up the 50 odd GB of space from my HD by uninstalling all 3, put the games in the closet, and never play them again.

I didn't even enjoy the game prior to the ending, why would I ever play it again? I plan to watch the youtube vids and read player reviews but I have no interest or desire to replay the campaign just to see a slightly expanded ending cinematic.

Definately watch, i tried playing a 2nd playthrough earlier, got to mars and lost interest as the game was crap way before the endings. Youtube then when it's a letdown back on here for a good moan again

I will play it. after I have played it I will go to the store, buy several strawberry daiquiris and a huge tub of popcorn and sit on the forums watching the cluster**** unfold right before my eyes. EC may not placate rage over the ending but at least I will get a good laugh from the forums!

I'll play it since it's free. Hopefully it'll save that miserable excuse of an ending and make me want to replay ME3 again. If not, I'll be trading my game then.

Considering the time, efforts and resources they're putting in the EC, appearently BioWare doesn't think so. So who cares about taht IGN d-bag?

Uh, why? I know I can get unvarnished and un-bought opinions here, and my biggest questions, such as whether Bioware tossed the Starkid or not, will be posted here in 4-foot high letters. This is the PERFECT place for feedback and reviews! Would you rather I get my info from IGN? Or perhaps I could wait for Forbe's opinion; but they don't game, so they would just be looking at the financial side of things. I've been here for three months now, and I've got a general idea of which people's general opinions I tend to share. If THOSE people are happy, odds are good that I can take a chance and download the EC. But if people like AtlasMickey, memorysquid, or...what's his name, the guy whose name reads like Cameltoe, like it, I'm almost certainly NOT going to like it and am best off staying far, far away.

EDIT: Actually, were you planning on playing the EC and reviewing it here on BSN, KotorEffect3? You're also on my list of people to watch for; would love to hear what you have to think.

I'm genuinely suprised by how many people are basically saying that they are unwilling or unable to form their own opinion on the EC by playing it themselves. It's kind of sad really. I mean, I'm skeptical too but I'm not going to rely on a bunch of strangers to tell me if I like something or not. I'll play it, try to keep an open mind and pretend that it's my first time finishing it. Hopefully it's good and I can finish my second through 15th playthroughs that I haven't been able to for the past three months.

From what I've heard so far, this EC might actually make the ending worse. If they put the scene where Shepard calls the Normandy and tells Joker to get out back in the game, they not only ruin that but completely rewrite established characters as well within a few minutes. There's no way in hell my LI Liara or Garrus would run away even if Shepard told them to in this case. So if this were to be put back in, it would ruin the ending even further for me.

I might not even want to see the EC at all...
