hi, i have only one achievment left in the game but when i had previosly played mass effect 3 everything worked splendedly, i was enjoying the multiplayer got some new guns, and was only 300 enemies away from getting that "kill five thousand enemies" achievment. i am really frustratiad because i had checked the online options button "start EA online on startup" to off and i went to sleep. when i awoke in the morning the game on the main menu after you press the start button, the pop-up icon that says "checking downloadable content" wont go away, trust me, i waited 1 total hour till i said "screw that, its time for some professional help!" and so here i am. has anyone had this problem, or one of the awesome people at bioware can help a fellow man out?

PS: i have tried pressing all the buttons but nothing happens, except when i hit the Y button on the controler, it then says "connecting" and it logs in and the galaxy map pops up, but it still says "checking downloadable content"!
PPS: i have all possible downloadable content including the special items from playing the entire Reckoning demo (it was a fun 45 minutes).

try signing in ofline (completely disconnect your xbox from the internet) and check your online settings, set them both to on. other than that I have no suggestions.

HA HAAAAAA!!! YOU ARE A BOSS, THY FRIEND! thank you sir, this has helped a' plenty. it now works like never before and now thy can go back to busting heads, (300 heads actually) and can get that stupid achievment, thy hopes to see thou one day on the battlefield.

Edit: I also thank you. As it fixed my problem also. Although I just started it offline and then connected to the internet. My setting are still off,but it is a hassle considering.

just keep the second option in the on position and there should not be a problemRip504 wrote...
