LOL - I wanted to glomp Aveline soo bad!
... I bet Leliana does a lot of glomping. I can totally see that.

Haha - THIS! I can't get my Hawke to stop running limp-wristed and cutesy. I sure don't trust her or any future PC's not to derp-jump us all over Thedas. Posted Image

Oh,oh,I can see the need for a glomping mod here....

But those added very little and you had to give up stuff like being able to holster weapons and have poor animations because it. Really worth the trade off ?

Poor animations becuase of it? How did 3 context-sensitive animations for climbing and jumping and drop-down make the animation as a whole terrible? That's a very outlandish assumption. Same for not being able to holster weapons.

I support this idea, but only if it's done like this: Specific contextual spots that don't require a button to perform (think Zelda's handling ledges and jumping ect.) the action.

If they felt like going into mini-games with Dragon Age, then I could see some sort of parkour minigame happening. It would be a better way to do chase scenes than the way they did it in ME3.

But I'd rather they didn't go into mini-games.

jumping....no, no and no. Its useless in DA world. The skills already make the chars jump. Then there are templars jumping out of nowhere like ninjas. no we dun need more jumpin; we need better story and gameplay first

Because you have finite memory use. It's on the ME3 boards it's not an assumtion.

Dunno how it'd work on the controller - what button would be "jump?"

I can see certain points having scripted "jump" events where you run up and press A/Cross/R to get across, though. Oh, get A/Cross! =D

Proof? There's a lot of things on the ME3 boards and the vast majority of it is speculationz.
