Honnleath, Leiliana and Alistair have gone all glitchy?

Also, Alistair's approval is just over the half way mark, and Leiliana almost fully approves of my character, however, there's nothing new to talk about, and I haven't gotten their personal quests.
When I talk to Alistair I have 2 options - talk about the Templars, or talk about the Grey Wardens. When I ask will you teach others to become a templar, he says I've already said no, my answer remains the same. When I ask about the Grey Wardens, my options go to I'm done asking questions, and he says for now at least. I am looking for gifts to raise his approval, and I've taken him on some quests hoping to raise it, but nothing yet.
When I talk to Leiliana, I have the option to ask her something personal or tell her to leave. when I choose the first option, it goes to never mind. and I'm not risking the 2nd option of asking her to leave.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Have you been to Redcliffe? Think Alistair must tell you about his royal blood before you can get his quest. For Leliana I'm not sure.. try giving her an Andraste's Grace if you didn't already.

I've given Leliana both the flower and some blue shoes. which is probably why her approval is so high. and I've had her in my group since the moment I got her (she's the only party member that can pick locks/open chests)

Keep in mind that gifts don't have to be given to a specific character. If you get a White Runestone that Alistair really likes, but want Sten's approval up more than you want Alistair's approval up, you can give the White Runestone to Sten and he'll get an approval boost. The only gifts that will ever be refused are 'plot' gifts; the ones that trigger cutscenes when given. So you can't give Sten the Black Grimoire or the Golden Mirror, nor can you give Morrigan Sten's Sword. So if you're looking to up approval, just grab random gifts and give them to Alistair and Leliana.
I've never seen Alistair's personal quest show up before completing the 'Arl of Redcliffe' and 'Urn of Sacred Ashes' quest line. As I understand it, you have to know that he's actually a legitimate heir to the throne, and you don't find that out until you cure Arl Eamon. After you've done that, go ahead and try talking to him again, and see if it changes anything.
That is, unforunatley, all the help I can offer. If it doesn't work, I can't help you out.

Also, Honnleath will continue to pulse no matter what. There's still Shale's personal quest to do, but that doesn't show up until after you've completed the 'Paragon of her Kind' quest. And it won't take place in Honnleath at all.
Ok, that is helpful, thanks
I've done both quests you mentioned, but hopefully Alistair will turn around.
Leliana hasn't mentioned anything about Orlais, so I'm hoping that will come up soon, thanks.
and I havent done the Paragon thing, is that in Ozrammar? cuz I'm working my way through there right now

Hmm strange. I've had that encounter happen right after leaving camp after Lothering. Maybe you missed the conversation, although i am not sure if you can actually "skip" it.

The Paragon mission is the final step in getting a Dwarven King. Don't take Shale if you are going to choose Branka, and don't take Zevrahn if you are going to choose Caradin.

On a side note, Zevran doesn't have a problem with you choosing Caradin, he gets upset over choosing Harrowmont, but even that can be persuaded to avoid losing rep.

I think Leliana talks about Orlais when you initiate the conversation beginning with "what was someone like you doing in the chantry?" The PC version was bugged if you gave here gifts prior to this conversation, but the latest patch fixed it.

I dont use Zevran, should I not take Leliana instead?
I'm pretty sure I've screwed up the dialogue then, I'm pretty terrible at this game.

I lost rep with Zev because he seemed to think it was too powerful an object to simply destroy. Not a huge deal. Choosing with Branka with Shale in the pary however is a very big deal.
Really? Weird, I lost rep with Morrigan but Zevran remained quiet about it. (Although if you have persuasion skill Morrigan's reply to you talking her out of how useful the item is, is hillarious.

For Allistair, he has to have revealed his origin when you arrive at Redcliffe for the first time.

when I'm in camp - I can say never mind, I can suggest she leave or I can ask her something personal, which takes me immediately to never mind
when we're questing - I have the same options above, plus, I can ask her what she knows about this place. I've taken her to 4 different places, to ask her about this place, and after her response I'm immediately taken to let's move on or let's talk about something else, which, takes me back to the 4 options.
With Alistair - it doesnt matter where I take him, I can only ask if he can teach others to be a templar, which he immediately refuses, or ask him about the grey wardens, which gives me the option of I have no more questions.
I'm 61% through the game, or I've explored 61% of the world rather. I think it's over, right? no quests from those 2?

I'm not sure what you're looking for. Each party member only has a single personal quest. Once you've finished those and spoken through all their dialogue trees you're effectively done with personal interactions (minus the odd quip here and there).
I haven't gotten their personal quests yet.

Now THAT I can help you with.
There is a bug where if Leiliana's approval rating is too high, she will not initiate the dialogue telling you the real reason she left Orlais. They claimed to have fixed this is one of the recent patches, but if you're still experiencing this problem it's obvious that didn't work for you.
The solution to this is to purposefully trigger the event when you have her approval somewhere around the 30 mark (I do this is all my playthroughs as a precaution) by re-entering the party camp. If you've gotten her approval rating too high (which I assume would be the case in your savegame) use the console to lower your approval rating so she'll tell you next time you enter the party camp.
As for Alistair, as the posters above have said, you have to finish the Sacred Ashes questline and confirm he really is Maric's heir before he'll talk to you about his half-sister Goldanna.

well that Leiliana thing is news.... thanks - I'll try that. you mentioned a patch, but I'm playing on Xbox, does that matter?
I've done the Sacred Ashes quest, the Arl is healed, and I even went to visit Brother Gentivi again. still nothing. the ONLY thing I've done to gain Alistair's disapproval is threaten a chantry mother to get Sten out of prison. other than that, I've used him up till I got Shale, and his approval rating is pretty high.
