It doesn't install Python with the toolset, though it's a required program for rendering lightmaps.

www.python.org/download/releases/2.5.4/

It says you only need 2.5, but 2.5.4 has a bugfix that you'll apparently need later on.

I believe you also need some extentions for that.

This
ActivePython 2.5.4.4
Windows (x86)
found here: https://www.activest...thon/downloads/ comes with those extentions.

I suggest de-installing your version of python and try this one.

Is that happening ingame or in the area/level editor. I heard that some lighting will break across different chunks like that in the editor display, but appear fine in the game.



Try exporting it and see how it looks in-game.

I see they are pushing three releases on the download page.

Why should we use 2.5.4.4? Any reason why we can't use 3.1.1.2 as that is a newer (presumably better) version? I just want to render my lightmaps well... right now it just fails like OP.

2.6.4.8, 3.1.1.2, and 2.5.4.4.

The toolset wiki says you must specifically use Python 2.5. The other versoions won't work.
