The black pearl along with the candle-lighting taper can be used to light a brazier in the temple. Now I just need to figure out what lighting the brazier actually does.

If I remember correctly, it gives you the chest that has the Ancient Elven Gloves in the next room.

One item that confuses me. While you're in the wilds you find Jogby's cache with his lockbox in. If you open it and take the stuff, you just get this amulet that seems to be a permanent quest item that i've found no use for at all.

Can't you give it to Jetta in Redcliff and tell her that her husband and son are dead and get experience for it?

I'd like to know what, if any, use for blank vellum or the transcript things there are. I've been selling them.

Blank Vellum, Private Documents, Trade Manifest, Fancy Vase, Iron/Silver/Gold Rings, Etc. Why so much useless crap? Love the game, but opening a glittery chest only to find a blank vellum is the worst.

I guess some items are just treasures to be sold at this point. This is a RPG, not a (text-)adventure, where every item has a special use or meaning.

Rat Poison from the city elf origin. I wondered about that one.

You can poison the drinks of the three guards that are playing cards, right outside the kitchen, if you play as a male.  It'll be a dialogue option, if you have it and the brandy in your invenotry.

You can use the Brandy and Rat Poison to poison those guards as a female too.  You just need to make sure you're not wearing weapons or armor when you enter the room and you'll get the dialogue choices needed to pull it off.

No killing an Ogre only to find a lesser health poultice is the worst. None of the enemies drop any good stuff. It also seems none of them wear armor or carry weapons you can sell. This is directly linked to the lack of gold in this game.

Ok, I lighted brazier once again in this game and it actually gives you a Codex entry. I never noticed it opens any door, dont you have to get key from East wing or something to open the main door?

If you kill Militia guys in Redcliffe they drop full set of armor and weapons each, everything they actually wear. Nice little money boost for a new toon.
