Why do you play multiplayer?

MW3, cannot design a map. BF3, if you have latency as bad as p2p connection, and ass tonne of unbalanced issues, a definition of complete ass.
SC2, not that fun to play without a friend playing with you.
League of Legends, too many trolls, cannot or almost impossible to carry the team alone.

It seems to me that playing multiplayer is the same as telling Bioware that you are happy with ME3...
For those of you that weren't happy with the way ME3 turned out, aren't you kind of sending the wrong message to bioware?
Edit:
maybe I am not being clear, don't you realize that by playing multiplayer you are telling bioware they did a good job, when they obviously didn't?
you are being ignorant and incapable of understanding the whole point of playing Multiplayer. The reason we play multiplayer doesn't necesseraly send out a message to bioware stating that they have done a great job this time, but that they rather have been able to construct a really great storyline. Obviously many people does not like the ending and I am one of those people, though I still give them a chance and do not seem to be as sensitive as other fans which actually are overreacting if you ask me. You do not like the ending? I get it, I don't either but I am being patient about it and if you want to have a new ending stop flaming at bioware coz they've heard the whole community for the last 3 months, be more supportive, and that is my answer to why I am playing mp. It is because I am being supportive and care about the Mass effect series as i have played the 3 games.

Yes, the OP was banned for calling people stupid and so on and so forth.
We don't ban people for expressing their opinion, unless that opinion includes outright insulting people.
Cheers!
Nicely done !!!!
I was wondering what would it take for some folks to tone down their attitude... but it is nice to see the mods stepping in and making things right now and then.
Thank you.

People play MP cos it's fun and they find it entertaining. Until they don't.
Regardless, it isn't an intended pat on the back for Bioware. I am sure they are proud of what they achieved - they should be. But that doesn't make it a message of "Hey we like to lick stuff so here - we will play MP as a way of telling you did fine."
They know there are problems. They know they are not perfect. It doesn't need to take stupid radical movements such as not playing a game or making 3k page complaint topics about how everyone is butthurt to point such things out.
But then, this topic was made by a kid.

I already paid for it, and MP has all the things BW got right (combat) and none of the things BW got wrong (plot, Shepard, conversation wheels ...). I'm not giving them a dime, and if the EC turns out to be what I think it will be, I'll stop playing MP, too.
So, for me, playing MP is saying that I haven't given up on this franchise yet. I still have this very faint glimmer of hope. I'll wait until the EC crushes that last glimmer of hope before leaving entirely.

No, you would eat the pickle and tell the cook that the burger was bad. According to your logic, you wouldn't have to tell the cook the pickle was good, because by eating the pickle, you were telling him that it was good.moater boat wrote...

so I fail to why you are complaining about something you got for free??
So if you went to a restaurant and ordered a burger and one half of the patty was burnt and the other half was raw, you would just say, "Hey, it comes with a pickle!" and then happily eat the pickle and tell the cook how good the pickle was?

Sorry moater boat, logic fail.
By playing MP, you are telling them they did a great job on MP.
It has no bearing whatsoever to SP.
Basically this. Playing multiplayer only tells Bioware that they did an acceptable job with the game's multiplayer and has minimal bearing on how well-crafted single player may or may not be.

I play it because I enjoy it. Sure its not perfect, didn't like the ending to single player a whole lot and there are some glitches but I'm not gonna let that hinder my enjoyment of the game. Though I am looking forward to the EC and future patches which will hopefully fix the glitches.

I play cause I'm kind of a ME junkie. I don't play COD or Gears or any of those other big online MP shooters. I kinda like the futuristic high fantasy gameplay they got going on. I also have a natural habit of role playing my different characters to some extent in my head which keeps matches interesting for me on more than just a gameplay level. Also I'm still waiting for SP to be fixed. If they actually make sense of it I may start playing SP more too.
The bug and glitches are annoying. I don't think Bioware employs as many techies as they do artists.

But I am loathe to go through many parts of the campaign-- the only parts I really enjoyed were Manae (wish we could've gone to Palaven though), Tuchanka, Cronos Station (most of it anyway), and... well, yeah. :/ Most of the Rannoch arc was good though.
But BioWare can see that I've played through all 3 games with my import, and how much I played ME2 compared to ME3. They can see that while I played ME2's campaign at least two dozen times, I've only gone through ME3 once, and then with new game plus. They dropped the ball on some MAJOR story components.
However, they did do a good job with the MP, despite the fact those resources should have gone into the SP. At the very least, the game needed another 6 months of development and testing.

Just... this!
15 millions wasted since the new DLC is there, to only get a Harrier, nope!
While I see some 40 N7 rank player with it.
Seriously, this store is the biggest joke I ever saw in a multiplayer videogame.
I would so enjoy a cliche system "You like to play with Assault rifle for hours? Here, have the Harrier to have some fun" instead of "You don't play sniper rifles? Here get the Black Widow III."
If I totally stop to play this game one day, it will only be because of it.

Admittedly, I buy ME3 solely for SP. I love ME storyline and interaction between. The Genophage and Rannoch arc were well crafted. Absolutely better than ME2. Apart from the last 10 minutes, I love ME3.
However, playing MP doesn't mean I support SP. It means I lsupport MP, nothing more.
I enjoy how MP evolved and frankly, playing with other mature, respectable players is a good experience.
