I just downloaded the D:AO toolset  1.01 but when I try to install it I get this error after it is finished verifying,

" Dragon Age: Origins game install not found "

I'm running windows Vista 32bit and I have already registered my game

Any help is appreciated :)

...And yes the game is installed

First thing to try: when you run the DA launcher it will automatically update any registry entries that may have somehow been corrupted (provided you're running DA launcher as an administrator, non-administrators don't have access rights to that part of the registry and DA launcher won't make a fuss if it can't do it).

Second: you can check and correct the registry manually. The key the installer checks for is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/BioWare/Dragon Age/Environment/Path, and it should contain the path to Dragonage.exe (without a trailing slash). For example, "C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age". (use single backslashes, the forum's still got that bug where it's doubling backslashes up)

After the installer has checked the registry and knows where the game is installed, I'm told that it goes to that directory and checks for three things:

- Is there a "packages" directory in existence?
- is there a "modules" directory in existence?
- is there a "bin_ship\\\\dragonage.exe" file in existence?

If all three of those things are true, it assumes that the game is installed correctly and heads into the installation process. If other bits of the game are missing or corrupted that might cause problems later down the road, but those would be different error messages at different points in the process.

Hope this helps.
