Are you sure? I don't remember it being mentioned.

Yeah, he mentions it when you're on the shuttle during the final mission.

I wouldn't mind, but New York already has plenty of exposure in movies, games, etc. I'm glad that ME3 feautured different cities than most of the other games (Vancouver, London, etc.)

That said, the more single-player DLC the better. We really need a hub world other than the Citadel. Omega maybe?

Really not sure what throwing in a new hub world would add. You can basically do and buy everything from the Citadel. ME3 was specifically designed that way. A hub world added in an expansion would work though, hypothetically.

So yeah, I vote no to New York and LA...and, if you do one that takes place in Colorado, don't make us look like we all live small cities out in the mountains.

But a small city map out in the mountains would be really cool.  Ohh or maybe an old Route 66 town... omg that would be cool...

New York? How original! Never heard of a game or film setting in New York. It is truely new and unconventional!

/irony off

Please not... please not this stupid place. This world has to offer so much mor than skyscrapers like Illium.

And we heard in the game that big cities were the major target for reapers so it would be very dangerous to have a HUB there. I could imagine some asian rice fields, a jungle in central africa or a second place in europe, that would make sense to have a close station near London. Maybe some old bunker or coal mine systems from 2nd WW as hideout to gather troops in the underground. There would be an underground society were you crawl through tunnels and organize attacks at the reapers.

That would a bit more logical, to hide in places where no obvious towns are and it wouldn't be that big cliché like Paris, Tokyo, New York and the other popular cities.

Well how about a Earth Location from each Nation, why not throw Antartica and the Artic Circle while you at it?

New York would be a good MP or a Side Quest like those Ceberous mission. I don't understand why everyone's hates something when someone talk about something. I honestly want my Exploration back, I hope they do.

I wouldn't mind seeing more locations on Earth, but I'd prefer something more... original. It was great to see Vancouver and London. I wouldn't mind getting a glimpse of Rio de Janeiro. The N7 training facilities are present there (If I remember correctly), and it's different to what we've seen of Earth so far.

No thanks, I'm still holding out for a Swindon hub-world with Chippenham and Trowbridge added later as DLC packs.                                             But really, aren't New Yorkers getting sick of seeing their city destroyed countless times in films/games/books etc.?

dude what is it with you and NY, nobody is going to make a ME or ME DLC for that matter with that location, not while there are tons of interesting and exotic cities out there.

also BW is not from the US, sure they may be on the same continent...yet, and this may surprise you, the US does not cover the entire globe.

now, write Mass Effect on a very Big Apple and there you have it, ME takes place on NY.

Thinking that they're gonna make a new location for MP porpuses is foolish, they already said the upcoming dlc will add 6 new units 3 weapons and 2 locations: Vancouver and London, obviously recycling the materials from the first and last mission. Rings a bell? Rebellion? Resurgence? not complaining though, its free DLC after all.

BTW, its not negativism that people's opinions are different to yours, and its not surprizing considering what you are suggesting. NY? again? in Mass Effect? I had enough of that ****hole in GTA4 (funny that GTA5 will be in LA)

Earth related DLC? Did I miss something? Also I'm tired of New York and seeing it ruined, even Pokemon's version Unova is getting flash-frozen.

I liked ME3's non-normal cities with Vancuver(?) and London so maybe another futuristic un-familiar earth city. Abu Dabi? Sidney?

Gibraltar! It's a massive rock in Europe. How could you not want to jump on a destroyer class from THERE?

Adding New York wouldn't make any sense, it hasn't been mentioned at all in any of the games, so why randomly add it now?

So am I. It would be nice to see other locations around the world than the same old cities ruined (New York, LA, etc)

Pretty sure we're not needed there. The Avengers seem to have a pretty good handle on alien invasions in the Big Apple.

BioWare with that Earth related DLC you should add New York a location in Singleplayer and Multiplayer. I know New York my home where I live. I will love to see what New York would be like in Mass Effect before or after. It would be awesome to if we could have a Offline Simulation that's like Multiplayer and Piniacle Station that have all locations, game modes, weapons and species. I would really like that idea and be happy to pay for it. Now I think New York should be featured, it's one of the greatest Locations, lot of history in both real and Mass Effect and most populated, interesting and populated area. That what I think, it beavool location. :)

NY in ME3 will looks like any other cities with generic future-like building everywhere and you hardly recognize real NY in it. You sure you want it?

Yes, because nobody has ever thought of an alien invasion set in the city of New York. What a refreshing idea.

/sarcasm off.

No, New York has already been depicted to exhaustion. As a matter of fact, I don't recall any city in the world being more featured in fiction than NYC. If the idea of a new Earth location is on the table, I'd rather it featured a totally different place, something to constrast with London and Vancouver. What about a mediterranean city, with bright white houses built around cliffs? Or a North African location, like Cairo or Marrakesh? Maybe a mountain village atop the Alps or the Andes? There are mind-blowing, exotic places out there, and it's a pity most of them get next to no attention.

As for more hub worlds, I'm not sure it quite fits the story. There is a reason the Citadel is the only place we can buy or sell things: most systems have been invaded by the Reapers and are either rubble or living in a state of doomsday-level alarm. The galaxy as a whole became a battlefield. The Citadel is one of the last safe havens.

Singapore is an island that is only about 30 miles East to West and 14 miles North to South... A Reaper Capital Ship is more than a mile long... It is a very bad place to pick a fight with the Reapers :P

OP London is actually the most well known city in the world because the worlds history flows through it.

Sure New York is big and all but its used for every single film that involves alien invasions its nice to see a change. I see you saying stuff like "Don't like it then make your own game since American companies use new york".

News flash you want New York go make your own game since Bioware is a Canadian company. Bloody Americans your not the center of the universe.
