Hello,
Sorry if this isn't in the right place, i was wondering why the noise effect option wasn't available in ME3.
Is there a way to put it back?
Visual noise as in ME & ME2

There may be a mod for it but I can't point in the right direction.
I also liked film grain. I guess they didn't include it in ME3 because few people actually turn it on.
Also, I think this belongs in general discussion. Tech support is not about game features, it's about problems running the game.

I think it was removed because of the antialiasing option that was added to ME3. ME3 uses Fullscreen approXimation AntiAliasing (FXAA), which is a type of post-processing effect. The film grain was a post processing effect as well. They likely didn't work together, so BioWare simply removed the film grain.

Does the Xbox version support anti-alias? I was under the impression they wouldn't alter a feature from all versions because of a PC exclusive option. The PC versions of ME2 and ME3 were pretty poor console ports because of this.

Probably. FXAA wasn't widely used when ME1 and ME2 first came out, and now it's gaining usage across all platforms. Not that you can turn it off on consoles.
