Nope some of the balance changes are needed. If we stick with one set way that is always better than the others. everyone will play that way. I want to play the game using as many different strategies as i can. That is what is fun! If we stop complaining to bioware the community will lose interest and the number of players will drop. Soon they will pull the plug on the servers and I would be sad.

Not saying i'm better then anyone in the game or real life. I'm saying that we ned to be less picky about the lobbys were in and the people were playing with and have fun. The whole idea of the ME3 multiplayer is that we are all together in a war against enemies attacking earth. Would you kick someone out of the army in that desperate situation becuase you didn't like his gun?
But, everyone's idea of fun isn't playing with someone who has to be revived constantly, doesn't want to stay in hack zones, doesn't provide cover fire when disarming objectives, doesn't know how to use weapons, etc.

I liked your post very much and can say thats how I tick more or less too.

It might not be fun... but it might not be an annoyance either. That's the way I think anyway.

Sometimes, the best way to complete a hack is not to have every single player stay in the circle.
Sometimes, providing cover fire to those disarming objectives is not on unnecessary, but draws enemy fire down on the guy doing the disarming.
Last night we had a hack objective out in the open, and my Vorcha did a pretty good job of running out of the circle and holding back concentrated enemy pushes towards our position. I wasn't consistently inside the circle the entire time, but it help to keep our position from being over run.
Many are the times I've played an Infiltrator disarming a node while Cloaked. Guys run up to cover me, but all they're doing is drawing aggro in my direction. Might be more helpful to kite some enemies around the map away from me.
I'm just saying, there may be different ways to tackle these things that can also help you have your fun.

A couple matches ago I played a game on Hydra vs Geth and there was a level 1 infiltrator on the squad. I let that one go just for the hell of it. Turns out that guy played pretty smart, despite not scoring all that much (can't keep up with Level 20 GI with a Level 1 QFI...)
In any event that is pretty rare. By and large if you find someone with low N7 or a low character level they probably don't know what they are doing. If you see whonky weapon setups then you should probably go with the odds and switch servers or vote to kick unless you are confident that the rest of the team can pick up the slack.

I've played quite a bit of l4d campaign mode (wasn't into versus) and theres an interesting difference.
In l4d pug's you could have easy games and very hard games on the hardest difficulty. Yet far most of them were "good" games.
I think partially because you wouldn't feel you had wasted anything (but time). Unlike eg. medicgel/rockets and those things.
Maybe me3 mp have too high a risk of letting players feel like they lost more than they gained?

1) Players complaining about bugs and glitches on the forums is THE BEST way to inform BioWare. How else would they know about the ULM not working? The glitches that are in the game got past QA once, and sometimes twice. We are here to give them this feedback and let them know about problems in the game. That's OUR job.
2) Elitist posts are annoying. Especially annoying when said elitist posts their builds and run only the most powerful and conservative builds and then bash others for trying something different. In a game with 1000s of character/weapon setups possible the elitists have somehow "in their mind" reduced the possibilities of useful or viable setups down to maybe 20 possible character/weapon setups that THEY accept.
3) Not everyone is an elitist. Some of us just enjoy the game.
4) Buffing and Nerfing weapons mixes things up. If they never buffed/nerfed.... there are weapons and class/race combos NOBODY in their right mind would have played if the game was the same as launch day. For example... Human Adept and Human Soldier. They used to be terrible, but now they are godly.

Great post OP. The game is all about having fun playing with other gamers.
I'm actually grateful for the "pros" who can complete gold matches and don't mind me tagging along. I get to learn tricks about how the various classes can help complete gold games and I get to better player (and I was crap to start with :-)).
Loving to play as the new human male vanguard and smash enemies while hiding behind a wall - learnt that from playing a gold match! So cool!
