Nope. Rooms fill pretty much to the brim in minutes, and it usually takes no time to fill the remaining slot.

Saying that, I'd rather lose out on the opportunity to play a single game than attempt a frustrating Gold run with 3 under n50 half levelled characters...

OP isnt saying you should run a room full of sub-50's. OP is saying let the odd one or two slide. and to miss a game rather than have a fully optamised team is a bit extreme. all you are doing is limmiting the challange to ensure a completed run. sounds like silver or farming to me. and farming is something i just dont get. turns a game into a chore

How in the world did you get "farming" from my desire to build an optimised team?

Limiting the challenge... lol. No, I'm ensuring the game will be well paced and even, with our focus where it should be and not on picking up straggling newbies.

The challenge for me is to complete the match as fast and efficiently as we can. That's much more enjoyable than an uneven game with people working against each other due to lack of experience.

Stop making assumptions and putting words where I didn't write them, please.

Take a bow original poster ! - its nice to see there are still people out there who actually have fun while playing MP, and are also willing to share some of their valuable time with less experienced players.

but surely you can appreciate that once in a while, even with a "dogs bollocks" team, stuff goes wrong. and once in a while a low level will suprise you and do very well. by waiting for an acceptible team are you not eating into the limmited time you have for playing. and i dont wish to state you ARE farming, its just what it sounds like to me.

7) I swore (i know its impossible but i have no other explanaiton) that i seen a random miss a heavy melee on a nemisis when she was the last one left and she did a back flip and he died. She must have shot him somehow but we all had a running joke that he got melee's to death by a nemisis. we got a good laugh out of it and dind't kick him

Neither have I though I fully understand why it would happen and be justified.  If you are a team that looks iffy on gold and a level 1 kroguard with a lousy weapon and poor N7 comes into the lobby....

Once again that is you, you can carry multiple people, not every one can.  gold can be unfun and frustrating if you have no "I can carry the team"quality players.

I have no issue with the weapons at all.  The Infil class is another matter.

I have learned the hard way this is not smart play.  I do my very best to hoof it over quick and rez but it does no good for the team if both me and the other peson are dead because I didn't clear the rabble before trying to rez.  At times it is just not cost effective to rez another player and every player that goes down should know that.

That's a good attitude to take, I agree with it.

This is no problem at all when you play a lot of gold and get reams of cash, when you are a fringe gold player 5 gels and 5 rockets tends to dwindle the supplies.  I agree with you about using those things if needed, especially rockets.

Good fun team interaction are the games that are the most fun.  Last night in a silver game my brain went dead and I seemingly overan the extraction zone with seconds left and the team was giivng me the gears for the partial extrtaction but when the screen came up it was another player that was listed as not making it.

Stability has been decent for me and I have only had one game that was terribly laggy.  It's disappointing to get tossed out late in the game but one recovers quickly.

Agreed, I like vocal people usually adds to the game experience.

You contradict your reasoning here.  You talk the fact that people sjhouldn;t care about nerfs or buffs and then you say you just won't use the Eagle.  That is the whole point of BioWares adjustments.  What good is it if they have 30 weapons avalable and most people only use 5 of the guns because they are so uber and never use 5 guns because they blow?  These adjustments are necessary but they need to be made based on the weapons themselves and not over powered classes using them.

It seems if more people thought this way there would be less complaining and more enjoying of the game

I have learned the hard way this is not smart play.  I do my very best to hoof it over quick and rez but it does no good for the team if both me and the other peson are dead because I didn't clear the rabble before trying to rez.  At times it is just not cost effective to rez another player and every player that goes down should know that.

You contradict your reasoning here.  You talk the fact that people sjhouldn;t care about nerfs or buffs and then you say you just won't use the Eagle.  That is the whole point of BioWares adjustments.  What good is it if they have 30 weapons avalable and most people only use 5 of the guns because they are so uber and never use 5 guns because they blow?  These adjustments are necessary but they need to be made based on the weapons themselves and not over powered classes using them.

The funny thing is I don't think i'm good enough to carry multiple people all the time. I've played with people who are way better then me. I'm good enough to play gold for sure and occasionally carry some people, but not like i could solo gold or carry 3 people every time. I played 1 of the most balanced games last night. me and 3 friends playing gold unknown unknown ahd 1 game where eveyrone scored over 100K and nobody over 120K. Only time I ever had 4 people all hit the 100k mark.

I'll always put real life people before ficticious credits. MP is a team game, its not alll about you and what you want !

I played with a guy/girl this morning who had an N7 rating of 8 and a level 3 Drell Vanguard on Silver

Yes he/she died allot, yes they had bad weapons, and yes the match did take longer then normal (Although I have to say he/she did exceptionally well for such a low level character. Theres no doubt they are going to become a very good player)

We got full extraction both times. The fact that maybe someone thought "That was fun, I like this MP thing" means allot more to me then some credits or the investment of a bit if extra effort and time.

35 minutes is pretty much doubleing the game length when my average clears are 22 minutes. I always try to run with one other person I can depend on, so if we /have/ to rely on ourselves we can.

44 minutes would be double not 35
