Mercs would work. Please no collectors.
Collectors would work. Perfeclty.
no good reason to not included them. Especially as Me3 lore states there are Collectors left alive in the ME universe.

Also, ME3 says the reapers used collector swarms which could work as an enemy if implemented right.

Collecters are mentioned as being support units to the Reapers in ME3 proably means serveral millions of them. Mercs aren't dumb enough to go against Aria. Would don't **** with Aria.Huma1978 wrote...
The Collectors were pretty much wiped out in ME2 (But still some are around), so mercs would be a better choice. After all Shepard did to the Blood Pack, Blue Suns and Yellow Eclipse, they'd be wanting revenge. Maybe find a way to bring in the Yahq or any other race (as a galaxy at war, there'd still be some factions wanting to do things their way). A rogue Turian/Salarian/Asari/Krogan/etc group who think they don't need others to survive etc...

Speaking of Yahg, just like on Sur'kesh, perhaps the Mercs could have Yahg as their Atlas type unit? As you may or may not know, the shadow broker Yahg was said by Liara to have been just a pet trophy to the last shadow broker, perhaps the mercs could have a few pet Yahg. Mercs always have exotic things. The rarest guns, the best toys, strange pets. Maybe some shackled Yahg that acts like a brute?SneakyDuc wrote...

Edit: Just like when you pen a dog, and don't feed it for a week, it'll be pissed off enough to attack anything on sight when it leaves the pen. I'm sure you could ****** off a Yahg even more by doing that to him.

Mentioned yes... that's all. I suppose they could still be brought in though with new classes.

The YMIR mech would replace the ATLAS, probably.

They still have ships etc too, James even mentioned fighting a collector ship in the early game.

That's what I expected at first. Ymirs for the Atlas unit. May a few Loki and Fenris mechs as well.

Praetorians would be great! And how about some reaper-controlled Collectors (the way Harbinger controlled random Collectors in ME2... I hate those things).
