Yes, I hate condor as well. Definitely the hardest to spot them on. Still, the vast majority of the time it's players not spotting what they should.
Even if you spot them, it takes way too long to take em down. By the time you take Hunters cloak he closed in, shot you and you get stunned. Primes are shooting, Pyros closing in. Rocket troopers machine gunning rockets. BW overbuffed geth badly. Plus the completely buggy nature of the faction and you have a nightmare.
I could be wrong (and I probably am), but I think they revved up Hunters' movement speed as well. Those suckers seem like they close in a lot faster than they used to.
Yes they did. If you look closely at the balance changes thread, the Hunters actually move FASTER while cloaked

Sanity validation!
I'd be fine with making the Geth tougher if they would just do the following:
1) Remove stun-locks on Geth Primes.
2) Remove stun-locks on Hunters.
3) Fix the rapid-fire Rocket Troopers.
4) Remove Pyro ability to dodge. (Someone else suggested that, and I like it. Why is it a metal robot with a tank of napalm on its back is able to combat roll, yet my wrinkly Batarian can't even dodge a missile?)

Now on U/U/G and S .... It's the faction I dread the most (unless I'm a SI).
Even on silver I find myself burning through consumables due to all the cheap tactics. They are not even fun to play against anymore...

IMO if they wanted to combat people camping then BioWare should have just introduced a new Geth type that throws grenades instead of all of these cheap game mechanics. Cerberus and Reapers both have units that are grenadiers and that's the main reason you have to be more mobile when fighting them; they are almost impossible to camp against. The grenades flush you out of cover for others to shoot at you. So get rid of the buffs and add a new Geth Grenadier. No stunlock, rocket machine guns, magic turrets, or firing when stunned.
I used to enjoy fighting the Geth. I don't anymore. I don't even like fighting them on Bronze with a level 20 character, it's just that bad in my opinion.

Sadly I think the effort to prevent farming on FBWGG only served to undermine that very goal. You can still easily farm them, and the Geth are so cheap now people see FBWGG as the only way to fight Geth on Silver or Gold. I swear you see just as many FBWGS lobbies these days as you do Gold because people are so annoyed with them they don't want to fight them any other way. They are just way too cheap.
Which is funny, because I thought the Retrieval objective was a much more creative addition that shakes up farmers a bit.

Dig it.

Same here. I can only hope that BW notices that most games these days seem to choose Reapers or Cerberus, especially on Silver & above. Whereas before you had a lot more Enemy Unknowns.

Mitigation or flat out elimination of faction's ability to stack consecutive stunlocks would go a long way toward balancing them out. If that won't happen then the only units that should stun in my opinion are Primes, Pyros and limiting the stun capability of Troopers to every odd missile if they aren't going to fix their random rapid fire launcher. As it stands a single Trooper can effectively lock you in cover while closing in for a melee follow up if the MP Gods smile in their favor. Hunters should either sacrifice the fire rate of their GPS, the ridiculous cloak speed boost buff, or stunlocking altogether. It's ridiculous to stack that many buffs on a cloaked unit that can spam dodge, requires hit confirm to properly target, can lock you down from any range before you can respond then stands a good chance of killing you whilst staggered after the lock wears off.
And I'm totally all for Pyros losing their ability to dodge period. It never made much sense to begin with.

I'm sad that they took this fun away. Now one definitely has to locate the hunters quickly and a long ranged strategy against most units works best to ensure success. I'm sure a team of skilled friends can do well but I suspect most games are PUGS and a totally different arrangement. It does seem to be an implementation against FBWGG and while I have not played that map for a very long time, I doubt these changes make much of a difference in that map against Geth.
So unfortunately BW has taken away a style of gameplay that was a lot of fun. Now a more boring style is a better strategy to ensure success with a Geth run on Gold.

Same here. The Objective missions always were the weak point in farming the Geth. If you had to hack a terminal, disable devices, etc. that forced the players out of their hole and out where they had to fight. I agree that adding the Retrieval mission was a great idea, and any of those missions are tense, but incredibly fun. But since the buff the Geth have just become annoying (I won't say they are hard, just annoying which isn't the same thing) on any difficulty and I know that several people I've talked to during random matches say they refuse to even try and fight them on Gold unless it's Firebase White. Silver and Bronze they can manage, but due to the stun lock and other bugs, Gold is just frustrating. A couple of guys even said they would rather fight Reapers on Gold on any map rather than fight Geth even on Silver. Giving the Geth a slight buff would have been fine, but as they are now they are by far my least favorite faction to encounter and they really take away from the game. As I said, in my opinion a Geth Grenadier would have solved the problem a lot more efficiently than the current solution. I think if they were to remove the buffs and introduce such a character it would make the Geth fun to play against again. They used to be great fun, now not so much. I may be wrong, but that's what I believe.
Edit: Also when you think about it the Geth have room for such a move. They have one less character than the Reapers or Cerberus, so they would fit right in and at the same time alter the pool of enemies per wave so that they would be fewer Hunters, Pyros, etc. to account for their addition.
